Was this ever nominated for an Oscar? It sure deserves several! It's visually very beautiful, as well as all of the usual things we look for. So much perfect attention to detail in every way. It should have been a blockbuster! But instead the crap about stupid comic book charachters keeps rolling on the reels, or whatever they use in theatres now. That is so incredibly dumb. How Americans can be stupid enough to pay a huge amount of money for that, I'll never know! I wouldn't even be able to sit through one of those! I did try once. I forget if I left or fell asleep. I didn't see it all though. It was the first of the X Men series, and it bored me to tears. Garbage gets celebrated and great shows like this get ignored! It makes no sense.
