Our interior design style is a combination of modern elements, clean lines and neutrals paired with some traditional farmhouse and more rustic/boho touches (Couldn't resist bringing in some California flair back to Tennessee!) We’ll be showing you our entire house as well as going through some of our plans for each room. We will be updating you guys through the entire process of furnishing our first home on this channel! Love the home! I would personally move the dining table to where you want your office space. It makes more sense in case one day your office is a mess

Totally agree! If you swapped the two - it would be such a beautiful office space. That nook reminded me of Julia Havens office. It would look sooooo pretty! Your dining area shouldn’t be behind closed doors either, it should be right out for everyone to see. The dining furniture is gorgeous 😍😍

Love, love , love your gorgeous home !!! I would love to know the color of the kitchen cabinets and the island so beautiful 🥰 plus the color paintof the black fireplace and I also love the flooring! actually great question! we are about to do a final house tour / moving out video as we just sold this house and are going to be doing a tour of our new home as well! 🥰 the real estate market here in Nashville is definitely crazy

Totally makes sense! I think I need to see everything all together once our other furniture comes in and maybe rearrange 🥰 for some reason in the other room it feels like the furniture might be too large for that space and that room is much too large to be an office! Since we already have two living rooms not sure what I’d use it for. But open if you have suggestions! Lol 🤗

I work from home and so I’d like the space to be functional and in a room that feels open and makes me happy rather than tucked away and private 🤗 I think it’ll make more sense once y’all see the final design put together! But thank you for your suggestion! ♥️♥️

Your house looks amazing! Great choices on the decor. My wife and I are currently breaking ground soon on a new construction in WI. It is also a modern farmhouse like yours. We are excited to get the process going. Although it did get stressful seeing eye to eye on some of decide selections and things we wanted to do now or wait on due to cost. I’m happy to say that we finally have come to a resolution and our marriage is still intact LOL. Continued luck on your channel...I subscribed ;)

Hey! Yes absolutely 🥰 I want to say it was about $1,200 or $1,400 it’s from a store called Sarah Sells in Nashville, TN! I linked it in the description bar if you want to check them out they are open for sales once or twice a month only so you gotta jump on it if you find what you like!

I know every area differs. But what’s the price range on this house? Just curious love it

Hey love! So our house is about 3,800 square feet and is a new build - I would recommend checking with your realtor or look on Zillow for comps in your area as far as price is concerned! It’s also on an acre of land so that affects the price as well. Where we lived in California this would have been well over 1.5 million but living in TN we were able to spend less than 700k on this home! So every area is different 🥰 I hope this helps!

Thank you so much!!! I can’t remember in this video If we showed the new ones yet or the old ones but I think Ryan said his mom got them at World Market a few years back 🥰 If they are the wicker looking ones! The new ones we got are from restoration hardware 😊

Hey sherrie! Our black fireplace is actually a smooth stucco / cement type texture painted matte black. I really wanted like a more modern, clean lined type of fireplace so our builder suggested this! 🥰 thank you soooo much !!!

What kind of wood flooring do you have and are you able to mop. My wife and I are talking about wood but she is scared about the flooring getting scratched

Hey Derrick! We have Engineered hardwood! I personally like this a lot better than your standard solid hardwood floors. It's a lot more durable! 😊 And have no problems with mopping!

Hey Blake! 💓 thank you! Our builder was Chatwood Construction! They do mostly custom builds so they can do any floor plan that you would like 🥰 they were great

Hi! Just found your channel. Your home is beautiful! I understand what others mean by switching the office with the dining room but if it’s done right, it could be beautiful. How do plan to position your desk? Will your back be to the window or will you position the desk where you’re able to look out of the window or my favorite, which is to have your back face the front corner while you face the kitchen?

Hey Trivia! Aw, Thank you so much 🥰 yeah I totally understand too! The current dining room is extremely large. I’m not sure that it shows on camera! But it would look really odd to have an office in such a large room, and in the other space it would definitely cut off the openness of our living area. Yes, the other area will be a really beautiful study/office - desk and bookshelves will be facing out towards the rest of the room not towards the window! You definitely nailed my vision 😊♥️

I have to disagree with the comment about the dinning room being tucked away I think it’s cute and different and lot people still appreciate some form of separation not everything has to be out in the open

I give it a few month until they put the dining room where it goes and make the closed off room into the office. Such a weird place to put the dining room And office is gonna look really out of place where she plans to have it

Haha no my clothes were in there too! But this was when we just moved in so a bunch of them were still in plastic storage bins 😅 and LOL 😂 I have a pretty big head I think mostly gravity and prayers were keeping it on

It’s more than I can spend lol. Moving in February to our much less luxurious home. Beautiful set though! Love the style and the hutch style cabinet!

@@UniversalGardens_Kimberly totally understand! Before moving into our dream home I have decorated all my previous homes and apartments on a budget! I used to find old thrifted furniture and refinish it by painting or staining and adding my own touch :) also target and home goods have some great budget finds! I think you can have a beautiful home no matter what your budget is 🥰
