Of all the floor plans I’ve been able to find on KZfaq, this is BY FAR my favorite! Thank you for sharing your home 😊 We are expected to return to Hawai’i next February, and I am so excited. Unfortunately we had to sell our home during COVID, but this will be a new experience. Our family has grown over the last 5 years, so we are looking forward to making new memories ❤

Very fair assessment of Ft. Johnson. Wife and I are thinking of retiring there for a few years. Tired of big city life. Your home in Hawaii is really nice. Being government is one of the best ways to live in Hawaii because they sheild you from the extreme costs.

Yes, I agree living in Ft. Johnson was very peaceful. But Hawaii just have more to do especially if you have little ones like me they will be more entertained. Military housing is the way to go!👍🏼🙏🏼

Thank you for this! We move in 2 months and it's only my second PCS with my first being 3 hours from my hometown. I am a nervous wreck but I know it will all work out in the ends!

Welcome, I was nervous at first because we had little ones but after that long trip once we got here everything has gone well. This is our second PCS as well and we love it! 😊

Wow! My (now ex) husband and I lived in navy housing in Virginia Beach, Va and it was so bad we moved right back out within 2 weeks. This was back in the early 1990’s. I’m pretty sure they’re torn down now bc they were built in the 1920-30’s. No a/c, tiny, tiny, the floor tile is something you’d see in an old warehouse. So ugly. The place smelled so bad I guess bc it was old? I really don’t know. And the roaches were everywhere. I was scared to sleep. I was scared they’d crawl in my ears or mouth. I was curious about what military housing looks like now and am floored at how nice it is!! We just might have stayed in the Navy if it offered housing like that. Oh well, can’t go back. this is on post housing yes! But no not most are like this , this house is this size bc of the size of her and her husbands family , they have multiple children so they need a bigger home it also depends on ur rank

Having small bedrooms wont matter. Your just sleeping there. Youll find your gojng to hardly be home because its so beauitufl outside even when it rains the sun is still shining. I wonder if they have any 5 bedrooms all on one floor. My elderly mom stairs no good
