It’s so nice that you were able to spend Christmas with your nana in this way. I hope you had a lovely holiday! 💗🎄 The first Christmas without my grandpa was really hard. I miss him every year. My husband and I dated for 5.5 years before getting married and never spent holidays together until we got married. We would just meet up after Christmas for NYE!

Ahhhh this sounds just like Matt & I! 7 years and never a Christmas together haha! I’m so sorry you can relate with your grandpa - how blessed are we to have been so close to them? This Christmas felt so special, we didn’t want to be at home without her so went as close to her as we could! Grief really does come in waves doesn’t it. Wishing you a very merry Christmas lovely ❤️

I am so sorry for the profound loss of your grandmother. You never have to apologize for your grief in fact I believe you’ve helped more people then you including me. I love that you actively sought to make new beautiful memories on what otherwise would be a deeply sad day. I’ve done the same for my family. A couple weeks ago I lost my 14 year old dog named Leyla. Myself, my other dog Luke and my family have been lost in grief. I knew I needed to give all of us something positive to focus on while honoring my sweet girl. So I filled a bucket with toys and treats, printed a photo of her with a sign that read “To honor Leylas life please take a toy and play with your pups. I put this out on the sidewalk all the dogs walk by. It’s been a joy to watch pups come upon it and help themselves. Some neighbors have even sent me video of their dogs playing with the toys. As you can see,you and I had similar thoughts. I really hope your family was able to have a wonderful holiday despite the heart of your family not physically with you. Luke and I send you warm hugs and old noses.❤️🙏🤗

Me and my boyfriend got together at the end of November! So we spent Christmas Eve together as he lives in the same town as my dad (I live with my mum), I always see my dad Christmas Eve so it just made sense ☺️I then saw him on the 30th as we had different plans for NYE - thank you for sharing your Christmas with us! xx

Loved seeing this as I grew up in Whitby and visited the same beach a lot with my Grandma. I also live with my partner and usually spend Christmas apart, this year has actually been our first Christmas at our home, just the two of us, so a strange one.

Yes I think basically the problem is ( a good problem to have!!) we both love our families so much and matts grandma is very old so we can’t really move her routine so they go to Matts & my gramps also old so he comes with our family! It’s no big deal as we see eachother every other day haha but hopefully one year we can get everyone we love together under one roof! X

Oh Em ... don't grieve in private. The problem when you're so upbeat & positive is that you think people like you only for that reason... if you grieve in private or quell your feelings around others.. believe me when I say.. it won't do you any good. Feel how you feel and share with assurance ✨ that the right people will stay in your life. Grief pushes us to evolve.. there are many positives from this also. You will find these when you allow yourself to be present and feel. ❤ One book that changed my outlook was The Secret by Rhonda Byrnes. Also the docu/film. Also watching "The Answer Is You" Micheal Bernard Beckwith. Free here to watch on Y.T. (it's fast energy but very soulful) Enjoy doing your own Christmas 🎄 it's really frustrating being part of other people's Xmas traditions.. you always feel disappointed afterwards. lotsa love 💘 and super big squishies & excitement to evolve in the new year. 🌟🤩⭐🌠💫 XXX

I absolutely love The Secret! I swear by it! Sometimes I slip out of it but generally I am good at manifesting! I haven’t heard of The Answer Is You!! Must watch thank you so much! Appreciate this, people should be with you in the ups & downs but I acknowledge people want to come here for escapism but it’s important to show reality too! Even if it’s just a touch of it!
