This song is somewhat different dad. Vishal has 3 heroines in the film and each of them have different type of attitude. Based on that, this song has been divided into 3 parts for all the 3 heroines with different types of genres and the instrument soundings used are different as well

This is such a well-made song. It has a single melody stanza that gets repeated thrice, one for each girl, but with a totally different flavor depending on the characteristics of the girls that they want to depict (one is traditional, the other urbane, the other from a rural backdrop). The choice of instruments, the pace of the song, the style of words in the lyrics, the accent of singing, all changes for each of the 3 girls to match the character they are trying to depict. It's 3 songs (classical, western, folk) built on a single melody stanza. This song can be used in music schools to teach students about the significance of non-melody attributes of a song in setting the mood of it. There's a highly common misconception in India that the music of a song is all about its melody. This song says "Hold my beer"! A fantastic piece of work from Yuvan Shankar Raja!
