The DLoFre's campus is a Scandinavian town spread out in the peaceful countryside of Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan.
More than 30 Scandinavian-inspired facilities are scattered throughout the 10,000 square meters of land. Scandinavian-derived interior design, fabrics, kitchen tools, antiques, cozy cafes and galleries, this is truly a mecca for Scandinavian lovers!
This campus used to be depopulated. In an effort to revitalize the town, the site and facilities were offered to a local construction company to build. Therefore, the facilities of this campus and local private houses are mixed together.
Hence, please note that loud walking outside and other activities that disturb the local residents are prohibited!
The place is run by a local company, Miyakoda Construction, which also serves as a board member of the Japan-Finland Society.
