Cannot wait for mine to arrive

I have bought NS4, although the price is too high and I don't regret it. The quality of sounds is exceptional, the workflow really easy and smooth. In comparsion to my Roland FA08 which is 2,5times less expensive, so its not much comparable, is nord really a different world. I've always hated the plastic sounds of roland pianos and acustic instruments. However in terms of synth presets, I fell like the Roland sometimes beats the Nord, because its couple of sounds from Jupiter, Juno, etc... And those are nice warm synths. The nord synth is not that warm and I kinda miss that. You can build much deeper synth presets in nord and thats why its at the end of the day better keyboard in synth section, but I can't make that warm synth sounds, which goes from roland. Crazy idea is connecting those two keyboards, which i will definitely try. If youre regullar gig player, I would recommend NS4. Theres nothing like that, the NS4 is fun to play, because of all that functionality you could use in real time. I've never liked building my presets, diving in menu and tweaking parameters in my roland. The effects had bad quality... In NS4 I love it, everything is top quality, I can spend hours building the perfect preset with perfect effects on my song.

Thanks for this good video. I also think that the price is too high, but I will switch from the NS3 to the NS4 in the foreseeable future, because the added value for me is very large. For stage musicians like me therefore worthwhile. If you spend more time with the differences to the NS3, you realize that the NS4 is actually a completely new keyboard. Therefore absolutely recommendable!

They should make their nordsample app and nord sound manager for IOS iPhone / IPad 😊

Thank you for such a comprehensive review. I have a stage 3 and am thinking of upgrading. I have noticed the lack of “body” to the organ sound. I do play in a funk and rock band and need that full organ sound. Would you recommend a combo of Xk 5 and nord 4 ? How Leslie or no Leslie. Or would a pedal like the ventilator help. Io l’ho avuta per 14 giorni. Poi l’ho rimandata indietro. Per un musicista abituale forse va bene. 2 organi , due piani,( ma perché?) e 3 Synth. Totale 7 suoni. Alla fine però suoni quasi sempre con il piano, aggiungi qualche pad e l’organo. Ma se è facile dal vivo cambiare qualcosa è molto macchinosa per il resto. Secondo me i Synth sono molto limitati, e i sample che ci sono a bordo quasi sempre molto scarsi.Per suonare gli ottimi pianoforti il prezzo è molto esagerato. Un prezzo equilibrato sarebbe stato 3000-3500€ , non di più. Ma è importante il tipo di musica che si vuole fare. Per il jazz va benissimo per il resto non credo che vada bene, specie per chi è abituato ad un sequencer. Secondo il mio parere è troppo sopravvalutata.
