The way they did the Stimulus really messed things up for some people who should've gotten it but someone else did. Especially the 2nd and the 3rd one. My stepdad claimed me and my son but then I moved out. I was no longer a dependent. Everything went to my step dad. Everytime I tried to do it through taxes it came back that I was denied because I was claimed as a dependent the prior year. Even when they had the portal to submit your information on your own. Then they did the child tax care credit and he got that to since he claimed my son the year prior. He never gave me a dime. I'm sure I could fight it but I wouldnt even know where to begin. I just believe in karma.

I disagree with JJ about the stimulus check. She says it was the son's money because he wasn't living under his mom's roof. But the stimulus checks were based on the prior year's tax returns, so I think it should be the mom's if the son lived with his mom the prior year. JJ didn't even consider that

I disagree, it was meant as a tool to keep people housed, not a reimbursement for past support.

@dippychic57 That may be what it was meant for, but if you go on the IRS website it says only someone who was not claimed as a dependent the previous year can file taxes to get the stimulus. If they wanted to give it to people who were dependents the previous years they would have allowed them to file for the stimulus, not the parents who claimed them as dependents

🇬🇧 Entertaining how naïve and silly some folks are! A comment on the filming: the cameraman must have a case of the itches. The view swings wildly all over the place, fast & furiously, with close ups of odd, irrelevant things. So irritating & it's only the content that keeps me watching.

So what? They are his rings and he can ask whatever amount he wants, whether he’ll get what he’s asking is another matter! No one held a gun to her head and forced her to buy them! The purchaser is not in charge of how, or when he appraises them, or what he’s asking for them. If you don’t like how he does business, don’t buy them!
