Chopin's Etudes are technically demanding, and require players to have significant experience with speed and Heeseung can in a snap and out of nowhere. He even play Mixed Up by ear, meaning he doesnt really have the keys memorized but because of perfect pitch he find the correct keys right there and then. Truly the Ace of all Aces.

i'm multi-skilled like heeseung (and i'm saying this with zero menace or ill intent), but the thing many people fail to realize is that despite being naturally gifted with raw talent, it still takes a lot of perseverance, time and mental strength to utilize said skills. i sit here in my room admiring heeseung and thinking, "i wish i was as good as he is," while knowing deep down that this boy has probably worked his ass off and shed many tears to get what he has today. it's a hard concept to grasp; even i struggle to most of the time, but talent exists because of hard work, along with many internal battles you are forced to conquer yourself. thanks for the motivation heeseung, now excuse me while i go dig up my keyboard from the closet that i haven't touched for almost 2 years now (slumps are real and can be real scary, you guys) and redeem my pride as a pianist 😆
