When Mirabel is worried, the house cracks. It makes sense that she's like the embodiment of the magic and the house! When she put the doorknob on the house at the end, it gave off the same aura as it does when they get their gifts, which is why she is the embodiment of the house.

Why do I feel like Mirabel’s gift literally would be controlling the house? Like she did the cool door light with the house after rebuilding, she also moves throughout the house by using the homes magic. (Floor tiles, ramp stairs, Treadmill, ect) idk but it’s cool to think. Also not to mention the fact the house cracks when she started getting mad and sad at abuela. So it’s almost like her emotions also control the house,. Edit: even further proof is she’s the only person who talks to casita, as in the scene at Bruno’s tower. Mirabel’s gift is main character syndrome.

The whole purpose of the movie was that she didn't need a gift to be special. I personally am happy that she doesn't magically get a gift at the end, that would ruin everything. I just think that, like abuela, she is the next candle holder, nothing more or less and that is PERFECTLY fine.

I tought that Abuela's gift was the magic tied to the candle and everyone got their gifts trough her. Later I tought that that gift went to Mirabel with the door handle. (Abuela got her gift because she needed to protect her kids so her love for them turned into gifts that they got. That is why they are losing their powers because Abuela is more focused on the magic and not her family where almost everyone who has some kind of emotional issue with her is loosing their gift. The reason why Mirabel didn't get the gift seemed to be because she was going to be next keeping their gifts alive after Abuela who was getting older)

She actually wiped her hand on her dress, when she just touched the candle. The candle is the magic, you need to touch it to get the gift.

The fact that you took the time to make them blink every once in a while is AMAZING

To add onto that Mirabel was the only one to actually talk and communicate with Casita when everyone else just took what Casita handed them, like there coffee at the beginning, and did what was need to keep Casita up to date

I love how they blink unlike most people who make them just sit there like a starring contest it looks so good!

Also at the end part when Mirabel ruturns the magic to Casita, the entrance/arc above the door had 11 butterflies representing each family member. But there is 12 members of the Madrigal family, so where was Mirabels? On the door, it shows that the last missing butterfly is on Mirabel's dress!!! :D

my theory is: Mirabel got a gift that she can control casita like Mirabel was like the candle, Or Mirabel is the heart of Casita. and Mirabel din't got the gift because she wiped her hands off on her dress when she was about to get her gift

I haven't watched the video yet but my theory is that Mirabel's gift is that she can manipulate time. Her door appeared, then it disappeared, turning time back. She froze time to sing the song "Waiting for a Miracle". I think she can manipulate time without even realizing it.

Welp the butterfly pattern of the House And The Clothes of Mirabel are Butterfly too OwO.. Like She's the new Generation of Abuela.. the one who's gonna took care of the miracle.. I hope There will be season2 of it TvT it's a pretty amazing movie

I have two theories, Mirabel shares feelings with the Casita or the reason she doesn’t have a gift is because she wiped off the magic of the candle onto her clothes. If you look at her flashback you can tell that after she touches the candle she wipes it off versus Antonio who did not wipe his hands and got his gift.

Personally. I thought it was her connection to her family that was tied to the casita. When she hugged Isabella the candle burned brighter, when she fought with Abuela the house cracked.

Another thing that proves that is: They only started to lose their gifts when Mirabel thought that the magic was dying

I just realized that Mirabel was given a gift when she put the doorknob in the rebuilt casita and I think the gift that was given to her is being the candle of the family.

She didnt get a gift cuz she mabye will be the future candleholder

What if Mirabel actually has full control over the others gifts, like what is Luisa started losing her gift because Mirabel wanted her to take a break. And again with Isabella because isa only created a cactus and other plants when Mirabel realized she wasn’t as perfect as she thought she was. Also that her emotions completely tie to the house, which is why the cracks only got worse when only she got mad, I mean during her argument with abuela the creaks got worse when Mirabel spoke her mind. Just a theory but it does fill in a lot of cracks about why only Luisa’s gift started going crazy and not anyone else’s or way Isabella’s gift started making other plants at THAT time ( because there’s no way she never got mad before )

Mirabel's true gift is actually being able to convert the world around her into a musical

I always thought she could slow down time or move faster then it bc when they took a picture in Antonio's room and they all froze I noticed they all were blinking slowly and moving slowly while she moved normal much like quick silver from X-Men and the reason she didnt get a door was bc the house didn't want everyone to feel threatened including her by her power or gift (Idk this is just one of the many theories I thought of while watching the movie lmao)

I like to think Mirabel’s gift is that she is the new candle of magic and light of hope. Which is why when she loses her hope in her family, her easy smile and the light she normally brings everyone, Casita breaks and the magic disappears with it. Until Mirabel finds her hope and light again.

Wanna know why she didn't get a gift? It's because when she was a kid she touched the candle but she Wiped off the spirit thats why she didn't get a gift! If u watch Antonio he didn't wipe his hands before touching the door But mirabel did. But even tho mirabel didn't get any powers She still had a gift!
