At the end of the song, I can just see it happening in Bruno's room with all the sand becoming a Hurricane of bad things form the past. Like I feel not only they would react to this like they did, but it would end up coming true because of them seeing it.

What if Mirabel tried again to convince Bruno not to destroy the family but her inner demons(her hatred from years of being left out) is slowly chipping away at her resolve. When Bruno was planning his revenge, he saw another vision of Mirabel destroying the family so decides to make this vision come to pass.Mirabel then returns to the family, the fight in the movie happens but this time mirabel snaps and she sings her version of we don't talk about Bruno thus the vision bruno saw came to pass as they both leave encanto destroyed.
