Occultism is one of my favorite mods because of how in the world it is. Plus, once you can summon a Marid you can have them crush ores and valuables for a 6x return. And theres just other cool little minions you can summon with the drygmys and starbunkles

Sjin No need for a kitchen sink, Ars Elemental has an infinite water source that will auto-fill cauldrons called the "Urn of Endless Waters" Cheers

Set the elevator up... proceeds to continue using stairs. But seriously, you could get rid of the stairs and gain space in all floors (if needed).

I'm guilty of it every time I play the game tbh. No matter what system I use to improve my movement around my base, I always end up using the stairs way too much. It's muscle memory!

@@ipovogel I only shook this by putting the stairs in an inconvenient place, but having my elevator be conveniently located, so I'd save myself like 20-30 seconds using the elevator, which meant a lot when I travelled up and down frequently. 😆

2:53 I made an interesting discovery. You should capture a mimic chest if you haven't already. JEI says that it can drop random artifacts.

I think Botania will work great with Ars Magica (remembering an old Botania LP you did, that has a nice Natural Wizardry feel to it). Also, you can milk the cow in the containment jar😄

Using spell turrets, you can shoot a cow as an entity with an interact projectile with the sensitive trait. and if you have 2 chests next to the turret, you can put item frames on the chests so empty buckets go in one, and full go in the other. Have the wixie craft with the bucket and a starbunkle put the empty bucket back into the empty bucket chest, and viola... milk machine. I used the display case from Ars noveau to detect when the bucket was in the empty bucket chest to trigger the spell turret and made the system self contained like this. The item frames are the key to the whole system.

Putting a lever next to the ritual of containment will pause it. That is not only helpful to prevent it from capturing any random creature to walk past, but also reduces lag when you don't need the ritual. In our latest playthrough the active ritual caused a ton of lag, also controlling when it attempts to capture s.th. is simply practical.

So for Irons Spells you need to put the scrolls in a spellbook and then it will be re-usable

26:11 the way the moder could make a countermeasure against these accidents is my adding a terminal that links to the chests and then links to the lectern , then you can putt the terminal in a hidden place

I would whitelist the foods you can auto eat in the backpack. That way if you have for example rotten flesh in there it wont be eaten.

I know I’m a little late, but u can create potion charms using Apotheosis, then turn them unbreakable using Eternal Stellas from Forbidden and Arcanus. Just thought you should know since they’re both pretty much magic mods

If you don't want to see any of the Curios actually on your character then go into the Curios UI and click the light circle on whichever slot you don't want to see the item of, it'll still be on and active but won't show on your player.

If I recall correctly, there is a Water Jar from one of Ars's addons that could replace the CfB's Sink I'd vote for Iron's Spells next, lots of combat/exploration to change from building(but there is still some buildings/setup required), and some mobs can be use to farm resources as mentioned by others, like the nether's Battleground

You can put a cow in a containment jar either click a bucket on said jar or make a spell turret an add the spell interact point it at an it will spit milk buckets out an use a starbunckle to pick up an deposit it. Also if you make sycer eye add same projectile > interact an point it at your storage lectern. Using a linked sycer wand (I think it's called) you can have magical wireless no limit access. Food for magical thought. Ps. The spell touch>dispel you remove MOB from containment jar fair warning it places them in world. Also wixy can pull from any inventory even you

Sjin if you add the Ars Instrumentatum mod you can switch between tiers of magical armor, among a few other QOL improvements.

The only mod there i have no knowledge of is Iron Spellbook. It seams like it is a whole alternitive to the more complex botania or Ars Neuvo. Could be wrong. My vote is for that Also making an automatic death ray that shoots mobs only (hopefully) sounds like a fun goal. Something ive always wanted to do. Ars Should have the filter functions

No idea about magic mods but these longer episodes are awesome. Really good series. Talking of Minecraft graphics getting better and better, have you tried or looked at Distant Horizons with Tectonic? I've not tried it yet but it's mental. Not sure how it works with other mods and ore generation but it looks incredible.
