Күн бұрынThis is another Enchanted Forest Party Décor made with supplies from the Dollar Tree.
Originally, I started this book DIY in October of last year for the Halloween season. I never finished it in time.
So now, I've decided to repurpose it as a Woodland / Enchanted Forest theme party décor. I will be also be making one for Halloween so stay tuned....

So beautiful! My daughter would love this! Her downstairs and upstairs hallways and staircase is a fairy woodland theme. Wooden floors, mini logs on the stair uprights and astro turf on the treads. She has one wall a full dappled-light woodland mural, and tiny fairy doors peeping out of the stairs here are there. There are also woodland animals peeking through faux ivy and a scattering of butterflies! 😊 It's in memory of her little brother, my son Oliver, who died aged 5 from chickenpox. He loved trees and woodland areas. Her children love their whimsical hallway and it's a talking point for when visitors come! I think I'll make this book for their mid-stair windowsill, but add their surname to the glass in place of the table number. It's really lovely! Got me quite emotional thinking about making this for her! 😘😘😘

What a beautiful way to remember a loved one. I think it’s wonderful that she shares his love of the woodland areas with her children, they will have a wonderful connection with him and nature. Love the idea to place a name on the glass. This could also serve as a sort of night light. Thank you soo much for taking the time to share your story with me. I can’t begin to know what it feels to lose a son, but I hope your family keeps bringing you joy because you seem like such a sweet person. Much love to you and your family💕 Karem💕💕💕💕

My daughter is making these, but she makes them for all of the holidays, just about any occasion, even boy / girl baby. We have a blast making them and since I broke my neck I'm pretty much confined for much of the day and it keeps my hands busy.

Very cute! As you were creating it I saw where it could be used as a place to hide objects, money, jewelry, gun, etc .. with a very pretty picture on the front. Or use an old Bible and cut pages away to 1 Corinthians 13, the love chapter, perfect for a wedding. Way to go, and the possibilities are endless!

I always think you can't top the last one of yours I saw.....I was wrong! This is a small work of art. I truly think you are fantastic. Wish you gave classes, I'd have to take them. I'm gonna go find a book my husband will let me cut up tomorrow and try one of my own . I've subscribe to you so I hope I can find your Halloween one. I'll have to make one for each kid and myself. Can hardly wait. Halloween. Then you need to do a Christmas one and Valentine's day. Hey what about a neat St. Patrick s day one? It would certainly work well with your fairy theme.

Great idea. I would have either painted the words from the viewable page with a soft white. Or written on a blank piece of paper a poem to cover the words from the book. Then added the lights inside. Everything else looks good.
