I'm crying as I listen to this. I have this deep loneliness that is tearing me apart. I am blessed with three kids, but as a single mom, it's so hard sometimes not having friends. I have a family who supports me financially, but the emotional support isn't there so much. I know they try. But it just isn't what I need and never has been. I'm grateful for them, but man, it would be nice to have real friends. I don't really know what that's like. Real friends with good intentions without any jealousy. I've never had that. A little late to the party here but for the first time in a long while I feel like I mattered and I’m not dysfunctional or weird like what people and I myself think about socialising. I recently cut off some people from my life and I do feel hopeless and useless because now at the age of 21, I invested a lot of time in people I consider my friends… sadly I cannot consider most of them as friends because of if I do not initiate a convo or meet up or something, none of them will and it hurts, I even left those groups and prepared a long message to send them inside the group chat(I would love to talk to anyone who is interested about it and have time to read that, I won’t mind exchanging social media and connect with anyone who wants to be my friend and put in the effort I do too). It sucks that I see many people enjoying time and have friends to do lots of life activities with such as the movies, travelling, trying new things(I’m very adventurous but have no one to really explore stuff with at 21… I feel like I failed as a person)😢

I got results. Listened to this for quite some time like 2 weeks ago. Then I completely forget about it. Last week on 4th of January, a senior in my school went up to me and started a conversation. It flowed perfectly, it feels like we're long-lost friends. I just hope to talk to him again after my exam. For reference, I haven't had a friend around my own age for more than 2 years now. im so grateful to this sub 😭 ive been using this along with a few other friendship subs and i have sm new friends, more close friends, and an irl bestie 😭😭 so heres my story: i was the only kid in my middle school who got into my priv hs so i didnt know anyone in freshman year. that year i befriended a huge group of ppl, and for awhile i was really happy until sophomore year. i didnt have any lunches or off periods with anyone, and then i realized that in their eyes, i was just a classmate who was there- a friend who was only their friend because i happened to share the same periods with them. they all text each other without me and what got me the most was when i was looking thru insta stories and saw them all hanging out. they didnt invite me. even the girl i thought i could consider my bestie became pretty distant and i felt left behind bc she had so many new friends. id go to her and say hi, we’d have a dry convo she wouldn’t take part in, and then without even looking at me she’d run off to some person she knew with a happy expression and then theyd have some fun convo. i dont have a best friend who i see every day. my phone screen was always blank and i never got texts from anyone except for the occasional check ups from my online besties. i know lots of ppl but i dont have a close bond with any of them. all i wanted was a group i could feel a part of and someone who i can consider my best friend :(( so after a few weeks of listening to subs, i made sm new friends and got closer to old ones! im part of a new friend group! im really happy now, they all talk to me and im not just some girl whos there or a second choice. we have so many fun interactions to the point where my sides and cheeks would hurt everyday from laughing and smiling too hard 😭😭. im getting really close to this girl and i think in some time, i can consider her my best friend 🥲 we text everyday and i also got added to a crazy gc, now my phone always has notificstions like it used to!! so thank you!!! im super happy now :D this comment got kinda long but i hopefully it’ll give another lonely person hope that life does get better!

i’m kind of in a similar situation except i went to a private middle school and now go to a public high school. i don’t know anyone but everyone already knows each other. usually most people ignore me when i talk to them, but if they do talk to me i get treated like a second option for when they have no one else to talk to. yesterday this girl asked me to meet her in the library today for homeroom. i waited all of homeroom and she never showed up. i rlly hope this works because i am at my breaking point 😀

this work like magic, i listened a few times before school because school days are boring and i wanted to gain some new friendships that will bring me new things and positivity/enhance more meaningful connection with my group friends and the first day i saw a new student and my friend became her friend, then she became friend with me ^^she's really sweet and we're sitting together at the library after class doing our homework/studying. this year all my close friends weren't in the same class as me, only some friends who i didnt talk a lot too and so im taking the opportunities to know them and they are really nice, one especially helps me a lot in improving my academic grades and motivating me which never happened with my other friends because they are kinda lazy 😅😅 second week, idk why but they were a new student in my class, and i found out that she was one of my friend in the elementary school!! she changedd so much, at first i was super scared if she'll remember me or would talk to me and when she saw me she smiled and we updated about our life. like maybe few days later, i was cashier and 2 girls enters and she immediatly said my name and i didnt even recognize her how much she change. she was one of my friend of the elementary school also. anyways it was soo great to see herr. she was sooo pretty she got a septum and fall outfits w the bag and all w a wolf cut hair. I feel you so so much… A little late to the party here but for the first time in a long while I feel like I mattered and I’m not dysfunctional or weird like what people and I myself think about socialising. I recently cut off some people from my life and I do feel hopeless and useless because now at the age of 21, I invested a lot of time in people I consider my friends… sadly I cannot consider most of them as friends because of if I do not initiate a convo or meet up or something, none of them will and it hurts, I even left those groups and prepared a long message to send them inside the group chat(I would love to talk to anyone who is interested about it and have time to read that, I won’t mind exchanging social media and connect with anyone who wants to be my friend and put in the effort I do too). It sucks that I see many people enjoying time and have friends to do lots of life activities with such as the movies, travelling, trying new things(I’m very adventurous but have no one to really explore stuff with at 21… I feel like I failed as a person)😢 I felt like for the past 21 years of my life I haven’t been a good human being, I recently graduated from pre university level education and like the people I considered to be friends did not check in even after I sent that long text message expressing my sadness and disappointment on how much I didn’t matter to them after graduation… it sucks cause I invited them for my 21st birthday

just ranting: (ps 111) i thought my “friends” were the kind of friends i wanted but it’s more so they’re a first sketch of what i want and absolutely deserve. they don’t really invite me places and im not gonna invite myself, i never ask to hang bc theyre ALWAYS together and i don’t really fit in w them or are close w most of them. the two i was really friends w only became my friend cause they liked me which isn’t “bad” or anything and im flattered but it still hurt before cause now one doesn’t like me anymore and doesn’t act the same (which im a touchy friend and i was used to it + liked the attention which was wrong and i grew out of that gross habit) and the other likes me but doesn’t act the same cause they told me, we don’t even talk anymore. AND ONE BECAME MY FRIEND FIRST, BUGGED ME FOR THEIR SNAPS AND FIT THEIR WAY INTO THE FRIEND GROUP WHILE I WAS COMPLETELY LEFT OUT. but of course none of them realize they did any wrong. and now another is talking to me. ive been trying so hard to distance myself from them without drama or talking about it to them cause they’re still nice so it wouldn’t make sense to them and i don’t want to waste my energy on that when i can just completely move along and on. they still talk to me in person (if im only fricking option of course) and it’s hard for me to ignore them once they talk to me cause i want to avoid drama. it’s frustrating cause they’re taking up space that could taken by true, loyal and completely amazing people but they don’t take a hint even though they don’t seem to really cherish or want our friendship all that much??? one of them legitimately said that they wouldn’t care if we stopped being friends, which me too but at the time that hurt. but they added in a no offense so i mean of course no offense was taken, duh. i went to my school to pay off fees for my second semester. Waited in line for three hours, I kid you not, someone so closed off as me talked to 10 people, and I INITIATED the talking (keep in mind I never did this in the past). I've slowly realised that I didn't have any friends anymore. I used to have two close friends I considered my best friend, but realised they didn't care about our friendship as much as I did. They would ignore my texts for weeks and just not make much effort to hang out with me. I always felt like I had to run after them and I'm tired of unreciprocity. Me and my friend had a huge fight. She said some words that hurt me to a great extent. She misunderstood everything and went on with her life. But we were each other's best friends and i didn't want her to go away this way. Though the hurt in my heart i listened to this. And sometime ago she texted me saying that she has understood her mistakes and that she takes back those words. She finally understood my love for her. And we do the same things we did when we were friends. It's such a nice feeling to have something back that was lost. I am so grateful that we both found each other. Okey hear me out- So me and my friend went to an convention. On the 1st day we didn't really made new friends but today I found this sub and I heard it in the morning and when we went to the con (2cend day ^^) we met so much people :D! Im so thankfull for this audio and what happend
