In the closed beta i had an extremly op strategy: Greg, Mavis Trader and Maybe goblins, i just farmed a lot of gold and got a lot of gems like this, i dont know if they have balanced it but its worth a try Just run away

you NEED to play Royale king more. Focus on getting as many chests as possible and I promise he gets overwhelming really quick

V2 in a couple of weeks will have a more accurate gage on where the meta falls. Right now it was really hard with limited time to create a tier list that was super accurate

I like having 1 greg , its always a source of income if you are late and you do not have to fight to win , fightring is so risky and makes you lose games if you fight too early. collecting and winning without fighting with greg is the way to go

I'm not going to disagree that Greg is strong is certain cases. However he is weak in a lot of game modes as well as needing him early to get any value from him

Chicken could be F could be A depending on the game mode to be honest. But turbo is so important in squad busters right now for attacking and moving

@THECOLTISREAL yea and with the bonus chickens it could be huge. Honestly it's a unit you get if you are behind and able to secure 5th by just not getting cleared out by getting run down. Imo securing top 5 sometimes is worth high tier lol

I HIGHLY disagree with Greg. You get him 1st pick and you can have 3 more characters by the time ppl have 1 upgrade which gives you a massive boost early game. Especially in the higher arenas ppl are much more aggressive early on so having upgrades over them can often mean the difference between being busted or not. If you look at it like you're sacrificing your 1st pick to be multiple picks ahead of ppl all game it's a no brainer imo. I also find the ranged characters stronger just so you can kite and stutter step better, so he can passively hit trees while you farm close mobs all game long without even focusing them. I don't think I've ever come worse than top 3 in a game I've started with him. Often end up 1st or 2nd just because of the massive boost early game and I never really have to spend keys on matches I start with him because of this boost unless I make a mistake fighting bosses too early or get teamed up against and am weak mid game and need to reset. I'd never pick him mid-late game, but early game like your 1st or 2nd pick he's the best character to start with imo

I think the only time I would ever choose him is within the first 15 seconds of a match as well. And he has a lot of bad game modes where I would never touch him. So it's really hard to put him higher. Should he be F? Probably not but I could live with him being C. B would be hard to jump that far imo

@@Enchatin yea I definitely wouldn't choose him in a game mode like fusion or something because it'd be a waste when you can get a stronger fusions which will be more useless all game long. I guess you just have to decide how you think of your tier list. I'd like to think of it as the power relative to a wide variety of considerations, including the best situation to choose the character in. For example if I have all melee characters, AQ would definitely be a ton weaker than a barb king and would be lower on my list in that moment.. or vice versa. But overall in the best situation when she has other ranged character to buff she's probably 1 of the strongest picks in the game so I'd rate her taking that in consideration along with other factors that a character like Greg lacks like versatility and pickability and value throughout an entire match. He's obviously a never pick mid-late game, but I definitely don't think he's in the worst tier because of that. I'd say C is a fair compromise knowing that he's 1 of the best characters to pick 1st or 2nd in most game modes, but never a consideration mid-late game and that lack of value and pickability late game should reflect his rank. He has his place where he's strong and I think that's good game balance. But I think putting him F tier basically says he's such garbage that you'd never ever want to pick him because he's basically unplayable and needs to be buffed, which isn't the case at all imo as I stated above he's 1 of the best picks super early game and I think he's balanced in his mid-late game weakness. I'd never pick more than 1 of him either I should add.

you severely underate an early greg unless you are playing on spell overload he is the only that can crack open trees which are by far the best eco on the map. goblin is way worse than greg goblin only pays for himself unless you evolve him at best he is a reroll but in the late game his coins are pointless.

greg is not good in like 5 of the modes and his best mode is gem overload, other is decent, goblin tier 3 can give u an actual boost. Greg is also pretty useless in the late game but i have to say if u're the only one or two who pick Greg u can easily get top 5 if played carefully tho

Don’t underestimate Greg Mavis and goblin in early game. After colt and bo they are great for getting some gold early. IMO chicken is overrated here

Honestly, I find greg/mavis farming to be my most consistent strat along with getting a hog for quick escapes. I really feel that greg is better than mavis due to how many gems trees yield as compared to carrot patches. Moreover, Mavis combined with a Trader in Goblin Loot is SOOOOOOOOOOOO good. Since the objective of Squad is to gather gems, these early game suppliers provide you enough resources to dramatically bulk your team for the end game. Moreover, getting top 5 is good enough, along with getting gems. Playing it safe is honestly the best option in Squad.

For some gamemodes I have to agree. We will be doing tierlists in a different way maybe in the future. This will be a standard one but we will have more in depth for each modifier because certain champions are better for certain modifiers and weaker in others

Nobody wants to go near you when you have 2 bees flying around you. It does so much damage in late game team fights when you can hit multiple members of their squad with the bees. Allows you to control the middle

Greg and goblin are S in early game But i greg isn't E cause u can farm in the out corners and get easily top 5 and Many times top 1-3 ( from personal experience) i play Many different strategies and i think greg is pretty valid

Watched this a day ago and still coming back to refer to it. I would say its a solid enough tier list for a V1 tier list since there js so much different modes and strategies to cover. Tough on your end getting so much greg hate 😅. Maybe V2 onwards you can go in depth, or just create a separate tier list for different modes/strats? Or characters best and worse game modes or tips for every mode and you drop some character recommendation? Just some thoughts....

What do you disagree with? The suppliers? I go after them in the midgame and clean them out everytime idk how big there army is if I have a stronger setup it's over for them
