The other thing is that it’s not just about having a guy who is 7ft and 250. The warriors always had size across the lineup. 6’3”, 6’6”, 6’7”, 6’8”, 6’8” is a lot different defensively than a team that has 3 guys that are 6’3” and a couple 6’7” guys

In addition to that they get a young scoring guard, even though he’s looked rough, he still has talent and potential. The raptors look like they’re about to lose both Vanvleet and Trent Jr. so they’ll have pretty much no guards. That plus picks is a nice return for OG

It should have been both firsts. The Lakers were trying to trade their two firsts for Miles Turner and Buddy Heild! Instead they got DLo, Vando, and Malik Beasley, and got rid of Russ. For ONE FIRST!
