It's definitely convenient. Though nothing beats a good wood fire. I miss the cracking sound of wood fire. Maybe I'll play a sound track of wood cracking while using the Zutto. lol. Thanks for watching!

Thank you so much for sharing such beautiful imagery of our Zutto in this idyllic background! We're always glad to see that our adapter helps enhance people's camping experience during (and outside of) wood fire ban season. There are a couple things we'd love to add to this. First of all, all the Zutto components (except for lava rocks) fit in the original Takibi bag for L, XL and M (though without cooking components for M). The Zutto is much easier to install into the Takibi if threaded together outside of the fire pit itself, then inserted. It's also much much safer to light the Zutto with the propane tank close by, coming from a corner while adjusting the flames with the regulator. I got the mat from Amazon - amzn.to/3LhWVbX . I got one at first, used it for 6 months and thought it was really great but wanted more coverage. So I bought a second one. I decided to get two smaller one instead of one big one for the ease of packing and one of them I leave under the fire pit so it has a bunch of holes from fire splash. No big deal for me though. how many lbs of propane tank did you use for the Zutto?

I usually use a 20lbs tank. A 5lbs tank can last a weekend trip but you will have to be conservative with your usage. Thanks for watching!

awesome camping video! your gear and equipment are top-notch! SP galore! However, I especially like the cooking pot you used for your squid dish-- love how the top flares upwards which can help prevent liquid from boiling over. It reminds me of my old and lost Uniflame pot. Can you also share where I can get one or two of those? Thank you and well done you guys! BTW, how do you like your Oyster Tempo Perf cooler? Thanks!!!

Hi there! That pot was bought in Korea and the brand is Kinox. The Oyster Tempo is great! I'm loving it. I've taken it on both weekend trips and 2 weeks trip on the Oregon coast. I'm loving it more and more each day! I don't use my Yeti cooler any more because of the Oyster! Thanks for watching!

@@ernendo9179 I'm not sure how it will be in the long run but the steel is thin. It's designed for camping so the thin steel is light weight. It's good for soups and such but I wouldn't pan fry anything in that pot.

You can cook over it. However, I wouldn't cook anything that is greasy or oily as you want to keep the lava rocks and adapter clean. I've grilled dry foods on it and it was perfect!

@adaminjp while the Zutto seems like an attractive option for grilling, we don't recommend putting food directly on any propane fire pit. By design, propane fire pits burn somewhat inefficiently to create these bright yellow and pleasing flames, while propane cooking appliances create very efficient and cleaner blue flames (even those, you probably shouldn't cook directly on too much). There's simply no way around this and the yellow flames of propane fire pits create soot, which can be harmful to your health. We cook all the time on our Zutto, but we don't grill, we always use a cast iron pan or griddle to cook indirectly. And as @SirCampalotOutdoors mentioned, the components of the fire pit can quickly become dirty and clogged if cooking greasy or drippy foods. Hopefully this helps! We too wish we could use our Zutto exactly as we would with wood fire, but alas, we can't get it all!

안녕하세요. 한국에 사는 팬입니다. 코드 이용하여 이번에 저도 zutto를 마련하였습니다. 혹시 5lb정도의 가스용량이면 대략적으로 어느정도 화력에 어느정도의 시간을 쓸수있을까요? 저는 보통 당일로 캠핑을 다닙니다. 한번가면 불피우는 시간이 총 6-7시간 정도 되는데 가스통 용량을 어느정도 준비해야하는지 고민중이라서요. 대략적인 가스 소비량을 알려주실수 있나요? 할인코드 정말 감사드립니다.😊

Believe or not, it's only on medium at most in this video. It can get even bigger! I use regular propane for the Zutto. Thank goodness it's regular propane because ISO butane and butane cost a lot more! Thanks for watching!

You can actually get it on Amazon - amzn.to/3LtHBsV . Get the medium with no lid. You do not need a lid unless if you are cooking a soup or stew for a long time. It's also great for other SE Asian food recipes. I'm sure you will find plenty of use for it beyond Korean food! Thanks for watching!
