The movie conveys the unique bond between partners, you develop a strong brotherhood with those your on the road with because your in constant stressful scenarios and you spend 8 to 12 hours a day with. In law enforcement your partner is like a work wife.

@@killa2488 I believe bro means that it didn’t get much recognition, thou it’s really good and the story is close-hearted to people all around the World. Pretty accurate. Every 10 min of fun on the road equals AT LEAST one hour of paperwork (assuming no one got arrested) as a police officer. Still love my job though!
@goochmunch5 жыл бұрын
Wait wait wait wait hold up. Even if nothing happens on your shift you still have to fill out paperwork? Like what exactly do you fill out? If you don't mind me asking
@johnwells64865 жыл бұрын
@@goochmunch Well if nothing happened on shift then the only paperwork you have to do is your Log. Which is just basically what you did throughout the day, for example if all you did was patrol neighborhoods X, Y and Z then you'd have to log it down as such. Usually it went something like this.. "Officer So n So patrolled location X at 1530. Officer So n So patrolled location Y at 1600." I've worked at a county jail for a few years as a Corrections Officer but since I had to be at the jail for 12+ hours 5-6 days a week I got to see first hand how a police officer works and operates. Even got to assist in a couple of arrests while doing ride alongs.
@nicholasbova99095 жыл бұрын
Mr Wells is correct. If nothing happens on your shift, it's just an activity log that gets done (which honestly is done on the computer in the car and through radio traffic with dispatchers). It's when you actually get to have fun and do real cop stuff (arrest people, search cars/houses/suspects, find drugs/guns/money, use force on combative people) that the paperwork piles up. Because it all has to get documented

I still remember my face and face of all the rookies later, when I came and asked where is my service weapon and they showed me my computer 😂 The funniest part is that I am not from the US, so I guess this shit is some kind of the international professional courtesy
