End of Year Eyeshadow Palette Declutter 2022: 200+ Palettes!!!!!

Hello everyone,
I've been feeling overwhelmed by the sheer amount of eyeshadow in my possession. That, in combination with having a much better understanding of what I like and what I don't like (or what I don't have room to store) has led to film this declutter. I hope you enjoy it and get some down time in the midst of the busy holiday season.

Hi Christine! Like you I have a LARGE collection in a NYC apartment. I am not sure if you do this, but I have found “shopping my stash “ has really facilitated me using things in my collection that I haven’t used yet. I have a small Truly lunchbox that I use and I keep it close to where I put my makeup on. For larger palettes I put them on top or underneath so they are visible. It has made a real difference. I wish you the happiest of holidays and a prosperous 2023!

Yes! I am going to start better habits to use my collection. I was able to reorganize into a different set of three drawers where I can now see everything big and small. Goal is to use and collate into 2 drawers in 2023. Wishing you wonderful holidays as well!

Hi I'd like to introduce myself, my name is Cammie and I am a long lost sister of yours I swear.😁😂 Kidding aside I just found your channel last night and I've been enjoying your videos. I've watched some of your mineral vids. They're gorgeous. I hope you found/find the missing ones, and they'd weren't stolen. That always hurts when something like that happens. You think you know the people around you. Ive watched the incorporating eye shadow into paint...I love your sanding technique. It gave some really cool results. I've mixed shadow into a small amount of white paint before with good results for some original colors. Thank you for posting I am going to binge watch some more. Take care.

Enjoyed your video. One caution, from experience, when I de-potted my Juvia’s Place Shadows, all of the shimmers survived, but very few of the mattes. The pans the brand uses are very flimsy and bend easily and when they bend, the shadows crack, particularly the mattes. I ended up having to repurchase several of the palettes. If you find a way to do it without matte casualties, please let us know!

The trick to Depoting juvias palettes is to wet the packaging with alcohol ( a lot and wait patiently) as is cardboard is gona be destroyed but the shadow will be intact and the glue is gona be loose too.

Hi! Test the eyeshadows that you want to depot first. Colourpop shadows tend to go crumbly when they get old. I had to declutter my You're Golden palette because the shimmers were no longer performing well. 💛

Take your hairdryer and heat the shadow to melt the glue. Use a thin needle to move the shadow gently. You can also use a coffee warmer (candle warmer?) and set the palette on it.

Greetings from rural Australia. With the Pilbara palette by Geologie, it's actually pronounced Pill-bru. The U is pronounced the same way as it is in up. Yes, the great Australian accent has struck again, messing up the English language

@@bedazzledbuddhist That's ok. I have family in America and they have often corrected our pronunciation when we've visited them. It's usually place names that get everyone.
