I absolutely LOVE the sweater you’re wearing! Omg! It looks so cozy & comfy. I am all about comfy.. I would even wear it in hot humid summer. Just crank up the AC. Just so I could wear that sweater. 😆 Thanks for video on books. Have some on my wish list to look into.

Thanks for all the great recommendations. I just downloaded about three or four of these books onto my audiobooks app. Question about T Kingfisher. I read Nettle and bone. It was good, but It did not blow me away. Love her storytelling, but I wanted more. I would give it 3 stars. Other than the seventh bride, what are some of your favorite books from her?

Yes for Pet Sematary! It’s one of my favorite books. I forgot about the Eddie Furlong version of the movie. It was pretty brutal. 😂 I love the first movie adaptation best. I’m saving the Bill Hodges trilogy for later bc I know it’s detective based and I don’t usually like reading those but I’m trying to make my way through all of Kings back log.

The Bill Hodges one is mostly detective, but he doesn’t leave out the supernatural aspect of it. For me, it brought my true crime and horror together in one lol One book that has always stood out to me, was desperation. The only book I’ve had to put down and walk away from. I think it’s time for me to reread that one lol.

You should read NOS4A2 by Joe Hill (Stephen King’s son) 😮 Loved Chasing the Boogeyman & Becoming the Boogeyman by Richard Chizmar (Stephen King’s friend) The most depraved book I’ve ever read is Lost Souls by Poppy Z Brite

What happened to the three fat readers? I was watching all the videos, very much enjoying it! And yesterday evening I watched something and today it is gone. Are you guys been hacked? Thanks so much for reaching out! We did decide to end TFR. Unfortunately, the videos were put on private by the only person that has access to them. I’m going to miss it and the community we built, but I’m so thankful for all the support and love that we’ve received from everyone.

I can't wait to read some of these books! I read Death of Jane Lawrence based on your recommendation and I loved it. And I'm cracking up at you trying to describe The Beauty without giving anything away. You're totally right about the imagery - it will NEVER LEAVE. I won't rest until I've traumatized as many people as possible with this book lol Also Jawbone! I LOVED that book. Such a great study of mothers and daughters. If You want a bit disturbing cannibalist book then i recommend: tender is the flesh by Agustina Bazterrica, this book has drilled itself To my brain vividly and it seems like it is stuck there forever...and i wish i could delete this book from my mind 😅
