And when all hope seemed lost, the number one hero did the one thing he knows how to do successfully, and he brought the heat! Endeavor’s a great pro hero. That’s just like, a fact, regardless of how I feel about him. In a weird way, this fight kinda shows off his best and worst attributes, as a hero, and as a person. As a hero, he’ll be willing to sacrifice his own arm just to get the job done and go head to head with some of the strongest villains in the world. But as a person, he’s been unable to confront his past head on, and will settle for figuratively burning the past for the second time instead of actually continuing to atone like he promised he would. Ultimately, it speaks to the kind of person that he is, someone who’s brave enough to go head to head with a villain like All for One and accept his wrongdoings, but too much of a coward to ever confront his own abusive past and do the bare minimum to atone for it. He can only admit that he was wrong and continue to do what he's been doing. All for One basically said “You’re awful,” expecting that to drag him down, and Endeavor just responded with, “you’re right, I am awful," and beats him. In a super weird way, I guess Endeavor is the perfect number one hero for society as is. A flawed and corrupt face for a flawed and corrupt society. It’s like poetry.

Jokes aside I feel like this is the first episode this season that did a decent job animating the intensity …so far the gravity of the moment doesn’t feel severe in some episodes..maybe it’s lighting or even definition idk…they definitely have shigaraki looking goofy but I knew that was going to be a tall order to begin with

Shiggy not supposed to look human and most people just complain and criticize about animation when it's almost impossible to do certain things on the level of the original drawings. Cgi is the only option in certain scenes, but there has always been complaints and always will.

no its the animation, ive seen all of fairy tail so i instantly clocked in what was happening, go back to dabi VS shoto and you'll notice a few things i saw instantly, looped animation when dabi is beating on shoto, constant still frames and impact frames, the only thing that looked good in that fight was the fire in the background, but the actually animation there was bad, same with last episode when this fight starded, endeavour vs all for one round 1 was also just ALOT of looped animation watching all of fairy tail kinda helps you spot low effort animation, because its one of things that show is notorious for

@kherikeyfoo it's not about him looking human.... he didn't look "human" in the manga..there was an over emphasis on all his physical growth in this battle & it was executed in a very Looney toon like way.. shigaraki aside, most of the battles thus far haven't really felt like high stakes ... you can't animate everything from the manga but tone is one thing that should still be on the draft boards

yeah, honestly that should've been the end for AFO (atleast in his orginal body) i know some things that happend in the manga so this will result in a couple of cool moments, it renders what endeavour did here completely meaningless for me personally its also because i SAT yes, SAT through all of fairy tail so if there's anything i cant stand anymore its "SIKE HE AINT DEAD BRO" doesnt matter if its the villian, i cant STAND fakeout deaths

you know what pisses me off? from day 1 when i found out about Eri's quirk, i was like they could use this to Rewind Allmight back to his prime and heal the wound all for one left on him. and maybe because of her quirk he could potentially also regain his quirk somehow. but because of plot armor they never did this but they are giving it to all for one to make some stupid comeback. this is the only thing that annoys me about this series and is a GLARING plothole. like wtf would you use her quirk on your number 1 hero to fix him?

That’s not how her Quirk works. One For All can’t be regained unless Midoriya gave it back to All Might. Rewinding him wouldn’t t magically change that. It’s not a plot hole, you’re just thinking about it far too hard.

@@TheEmery223 well mirio got his quirk back by her rewinding him and in the movie deku shared his quirk with bakugo for a few seconds. So it definitely is a possibility. Also she would be rewinding allmight back to his prime at which point he did have his quirk. And even if thats not the case at least rewind him to heal him so he doesnt die

I mean, All for One is using it here not caring that it'll eventually rewind him to nothing but in the Hero's case and certainly for Eri she wouldn't want to have All Might be rewound to nothing. Remember she only really got a handle on her quirk a few days before the first war against the League of Villains to give Mirio his quirk back and that her quirk works on stockpiling energy over time. She wouldn't have been able to have had the opportunity to rewind All Might until after Deku returns to U.A after the vigilante arc and most of the time spent between then and the fights now is planning the operation and sorting out the issues with Aoyama. I couldn't blame them for forgetting that avenue whilst all that's happening as well as potentially not being able to due to any logistical issues that may be involved with where Eri is in U.A especially when one thinks about the possibility of spies having made it on campus which is both true and something I think Nedzu would probably assume has happened. Could she have had the chance to rewind All Might? Yes. Probably. But I think her not being able to is certainly just as likely.

@@solarflare4002 so then what was that whole thing where she was going ham continuously rewinding deku? I feel that the stockpile energy thing was added later to nerf her to fill the plot hole. Also i never saw the whole stocking energy thing explained. All i remember them saying is that she needed to learn how to control her power. I dont remember anything about stocking energy.
