When Endeavor denied being the number one hero spot by default because All Might couldn't go on any longer, he knew he had to prove himself worthy for the title. And worthy, he was. All might may be the Symbol of Peace but Endeavor is the Symbol of Hope

Honestly, the badass symbolism behind endeavors ”wings” is so ducking clever. The wings on fire is supposed to represent endeavors struggle and ”redemption” perfectly. Endeavor tried to fly too close to the sun like icarus and because of it burned the bridges of those closest to him and only ended up falling even more. But as the battle against high end continues he basically sees that the nomu was similar to him in the past, a being that only sought power signifying that endeavor has essentially become a phionex as he literally rises and destroys his old self, with hawks deciding to be his wing man and second in command in the future by supporting him from behind. Because he at least tried to go against the status quo and noticed his drive to be another pillar of society that people needed.

This song actually made me cry in the second verse where he's talking about how he'll become better, it hit me hard.

I really like the route you took with this one. Rather than your usual method of portraying an entire character arc you went with Endeavor speaking to Shoto about everything that he’s done. The regret of his actions hit him hard so now he’s trying his hardest to right his wrongs in Private but he still needs to show the Public that their number one hero is infallible, that nothing can hope to damage him, no matter how far from the truth that may be. I could feel the regret clinging to each syllable as Endeavor recounted his previous horrors that he inflicted on his family. Endeavor has realized that he has made very very large mistakes in his life and is now trying to fix them, starting with his youngest child, Shoto. It’s a beautiful thing, a contrast between how the Public see him and how he sees himself. Well done Daddyphatsnaps, well done.

The chorus is so damn good. Shows how he feels after everything he’s done and that he wants to atone. Great rap. 11/10 would get burned again.

For once in my life.... I feel proud to have a father. This is AMAZING! I am speechless. You can just hear the amount of work put into this. You managed to include Endeavour’s past, present and his goals. Not only that but it truly explains Endeavour’s intentions. This is a real masterpiece. This deserves alot more likes than it is credited for. A true soul burning song! Your music is always so out-of-the-box! It’s makes it truly unique!

It baffles me how artists can convey a characters feelings and story to this extend. And not only that, but each artist can do it in a different way, yet the outcome is (when done right) the same yet different. Of course not everyone can do this. But it is quite apparent that DPS is the real deal.

Endeavor is one of my all time favorite anime characters. He was a piece of shit father who cared more about being the most powerful hero there was. It takes a real talent for a story to present a character as a villain that your viewer/reader will love to hate, even more so when you manage to turn him into a star of the show without it feeling cheap. The only show that has ever managed this that I can recall was Game of thrones, before it was turned to shit by Dumb and Dumber, with Jamie. This track manages to cover both sides of Endeavor, the powerful, driven and stubborn and lost, heroic and wishful for better future.

Endeavor was one of favorite Character in the Series not because he was Strong but because he wanted to achieve something that was Imposebil and no matter what he tried he always failed, that drove him mad.
