Thank you Mike for this teaching. I have lived a life of fear from age of 10 yrs....done almost everything out of fear. I'll listen to this again and again until the Love of God and His strength drives out that fear which has tormented me all my life. You've given very good examples of how Jesus responded to a situations no matter how pressing the issue. Thank you very much. God bless you for your insight

Please God break the chains of fear,worrying, anxiety, stress,depression, traumas,and all strongholds in the mind /negative thought cycles all connected to the fears. Please God heal and deliver me from all this..

Wow! Words can't express how much I needed this. I wish I would have listened to it yesterday. It would have saved a lot of time and heartache. But for the future, I can rest in knowing these truths. I will have to listen again a few more times probably. It's like listening to a friend give good godly counsel. Thank you ❤. "I sought the Lord, He heard my cry and delivered me from all my fears." (Psalm 34:4) Fear can be so deceptive, but God always guides us in paths of peace and righteousness (Luke 1:79, Psalm 23:3). "The entrance of Your Word gives light." (Psalm 119:130). "Your Word is a lamp to my feet, a light to my path."(Psalm 119:105). God bless you Mike and Caroline ❤.

A related topic: I've been noticing how even excellent and prominent teachers complain constantly about not having time, as if God gives more than enough of everything except time. Also, how many speakers go at a breakneck, breathless pace, again communicating that there is not enough time. It communicates a huge sense of anxiety. Jesus seemed to think He had enough time to communicate what He needed to communicate. It's a modern delusion.

Even his body language made such a statement. Imagine you were the one attacking him verbally and he crouches down and just starts writing in the dirt. It would be disarming. They would be wondering what is he doing! And it would totally take the control away from them + reset the control in the appropriate place, with himself. He was not going to get flustered! I love it!

Some have suggested that Jesus wrote the names of persons that members of the crowd sinned against or sinned with, and they understood they were as sinful as the woman and so they walked away convicted and unable to throw stones.

Love this. Thank you Mike. Can you please talk about the fear of the Lord some time. I’ve discussed this many times over the years. At one time I thought I understood it. But it still makes me wonder what it actually means in the Bible.

Fear of the Lord I assume to revere the Lord and respect Him just like our own parents... we love them but we fear upsetting them because we have made dumb choices or done dumb things...have a blessed day!

Elon appears in Judges 12:11-12. He was a member of the Tribe of Zebulun who served as a judge of Israel for ten years. He was preceded by Ibzan and succeeded by Abdon. Elon, along with Tola, Yair, Ibzan, and Abdon are only briefly mentioned and may be the names of clans.
