It's honestly just great fun to play an RTS again. It's been so long since the last good one. I think with a few changes to the balancing (some of which we did ourselves) this game could really be a stand out.

Worst then DEFCON though. DEFCON was cold and Kinda horrifying this game while in the same genre feels happier, While DEFCON is just so detached it leaves you scared.

A more modern take on DEFCON. Pretty nice, but it isn't quite the same as the depressing 80s aesthetic combined with music and sound design of utter dread and suffering.

Yee Man this Game has potential but they either need to improve the graphics or stylize them more. Also sound design is crap compared to DEFCON.

If DEFCON had war plans then it would be perfect. I still like DEFCON more because of the atmosphere and the dread u feel from the music and background sounds and DEFCON is more competitive and balanced

ICBM = nice game. DEFCON = NORAD Simulator. I give ICBM credit, they tried something new and not 100% copy of DEFCON. But nothing beats DEFCON.

I don't quite like how nukes fly here. in DEFCON they arched slowly and menacingly, and here they just go YEEEEEET-BOOM. But the games does look fun.

The speed of those nukes probably reached the speed of light, might as well throw a rock at the speed of light.

This game has realistic nuke speeds. Nukes travel at speeds upwards and exceeding 6 kilometers per second. This means if time is sped up, they will graphically be absurdly fast. In DEFCON they travel slightly faster than an airplane.

Have you ever seen the game "Defcon: Everybody Dies"? It's a lot more similar to ICBM in terms of mechanics than First Strike, but is significantly simpler.

Defcon captured the theme best with its neon world map, you're much more detached from the impending apocalypse there than here. You get a map straight out of one of those cheaply made world map prints here.
