Been dealing with this for about 10 years... I can only breath about 10% of normal nasal air flow. It feels like trying to breath with a pillow over my face.

The bottom line is there is not a damn thing that can be done. I just have a big bottle of tequila handy to get through the pain

Don’t listen. Sinus surgery doesn’t work and you could end up with Empty Nose Syndrome. It’s devastating.

These procedures have the most lawsuits filed against them. These drs don’t really have a solution it’s more of the same

I have sinusitis from childhood onwards. Already done surgeries and stuff. Only thing I can say it will never go away.

4 surgeries later. I haven't been able to start allergy shots again, they helped before (insurance/lack of at times), but saline rinses and multiple antibiotics Im still in hell :-( Pretty sure polyps are back. The compromised immune system...I pray for healing!

There is no end all solution to chronic sinusitis. I had surgery 11 yrs ago. A month later I kept getting infections. I get them every 6-12 weeks. Mostly of them are allergies and I take sprays and pills together everyday. Ive been sick with sinus headaches and weakness for 3 weeks straight now. It’s living hell. My weekends I don’t get out much. Feeling like crap I just want to rest. My gf has sinus surgery a couple yrs ago as well. Didn’t help her at all. I’ll been tempted to try the navage . I do rinses since this started over 20 yrs ago and they usually help but not this time

Ive notice if you pick your nose regularly due to dry nasal passages, it will create micro tears in the lining of the nose and cause the inflammation. I stopped picking my nose and starting to see a difference.

My doctor is useless and just keeps giving me nose spray after nose spray that don't work.

I paid a lot of money to see an ear nose and throat doctor and he openly told me that unless he could profit from surgery or pills he couldn’t help me

None of the doctors stuff worked for me anymore. I got a nasal spray sinusoothe and that keeps my sinuses clear. I used to have terrible congestion due to allergies that also caused sinus infections but this not only keeps my passages clear but also has cured my infection and my allergies don't seem to be as bad.

Typically for me I get a massive Infection once or twice a year and am just floored by it. I can’t keep my eyes open and I feel like my head is gunna explode. For me a very high dose corticosteroid does the trick, since it helps lessen the extreme inflammation. I do know that this is something that will lose its power overtime though…

Mine it’s chronic too it’s a hell life not rest at night always antibiotics not solutions I feel like a zombie in the morning I like to work but it’s a hell to go to work I hope they find something 😢

I’ve done the flonase and montelukast pills they didn’t work so my ent doctor decided to give me a kenolg shot to help the inflammation go down so I can breath but now I have none stop head pressure on the side of my head jaw and ears . Please doctor help what do you recommend from here

I've had a Sinus infection for 12 Days now. I have been using Afrin Nasal Spray/Drops to unclog my Nasal Passages so I can actually taste the food I eat. To ease my Aches and Pain 2 Ibuprofen do the trick. For some reason my Nose still keeps running and I have a Post Nasal Drip. I have to Caugh up and out congestion. I blow my nose frequently. It's very uncomfortable and I'm getting frustrated and loosing my patience. I took off from work yesterday and I am going to take off today too. I have to try and rest. I'm trying to sweat this one out. I thought that I had it beat over the weekend but no such luck. I talked to my Doctor about this last week. The 2 previous colds we used a Z-pac to knock out the Chest Cold. I'm trying to avoid building up an immunity to the Z-pac. The has been a terrible ride that seems like it wants to be stubborn and linger around. It's very disheartening!
