Yes I remember diners, grew up next to Lake Ontario in western New York, glad that I retired down south. Lemon Chicken, ball rice are my go to Chinese food. You are correct, as I enter my golden years I still remember saying that in my younger years that there is plenty of time to live, I was mistaken, almost at 70 and there is never enough time.

OMG....I can't believe you came down to my neck of the woods! :) I live on the Jersey Shore in Little Egg Harbor, not even 50 min north of Cape May. Absolutely love, love, love Cape May...started taking my daughter there since she was 9, and she's now 36. Next time you come down, we would love to meet up with you. Yes, visiting Cape May in the "off season" ie. Christmas time is special! But any time of the year is great! Glad you had a wonderful time there! Your dogs are so adorable, and I'm so happy they are both doing so well. All the best! :)

Dumplings and Veggie Fried Rice. Really, I like it all. Glad you enjoyed your time. I try to eat with chop sticks to help me eat slower. Then I give up and grab the fork!

We love Cape May. We camp there every September. We take the Lewes/Cape May ferry across with our travel trailer since we are coming up from the Ocean City Maryland area. We also travel with our 2 year old rescue retriever Rosey. Like you, we go into Ocean City (Maryland) to walk the boards and beaches after the main tourist season is over. Our favorite local camping adventure is to boondock behind the dunes at Assateague Island State Park. We enjoy the solitude, the wild ponies, and the roar of the ocean at night.

So sorry to hear about your dog. I am up from Florida ft myers for two weeks for the holidays really can’t wait to get back . Jan 5 flying I’m from the Philadelphia area. Was just down in wildwood n cape May also probably same time as you wife’s parents have house in north wildwood love it now as you said no crowds

Great video as usual. I was born in upstate New York. My Great Aunt lived in Flemington, NJ. We lived in a few towns in that area of New Jersey. We used to try to get to the Flemington Diner at least once a month. One of they're biggest sellers was New York cheesecake. (I don't like it. But whenever we went it was hard to find any left.( I don't know if it's still there. I haven't been up there since 1989 when we moved down here. Love seeing NJ stuff. I call that area home.

Big holiday light fanatic. If you want an experience visit La Dolce Casa (DiMaggio's) in Tamaqua PA. Great food, but the decor is over the top. They're keeping them up until Valentine's day.

I want to go in an Amazon fresh looks cool. Christmas is my favorite Holiday for a few reasons one main one is because it’s Jesus birthday time frame and I love all the beautiful decorations is another reason. If I wasn’t living in a mobile home I’d go all out for Christmas but I’m limited on space plus I go all out on the outside more room .

I myself have never been on the East Coast, where you were the beach with no one, the lights and Victorian homes just beautiful. We take our dogs everywhere with us, vacationing we find places they can be as well. We do have a favorite spot to go on the Colorado River, we watch the sunset and sunrise the times of year we go are usually quite less people. Izzy I googled the Amazon Fresh there are some here in Southern California. Not to close to where we are but close enough we can go check it out, thank you for the info. When you retire and get out to Albuquerque you need to eat at Cafe 66. A hole in the wall place that opened back in the early 1950's on the old route 66 west of town. The place has been used in many films and in Breaking Bad. It is a neat place with great food.

I spent Christmas at a B&B in Cape May! 1st time in one as we always stayed in our motorhome. Yes, you never know how much time you have on this earth so enjoy the time you have with loved ones while you, and they, are here. This was the 1st Christmas without my husband and I couldn't bear to "celebrate" the way we use to. As difficult as it has been, I had an unexpectedly pleasant experience being in CM. I went on a tour of the Emlen Physick mansion, dinner in Congress Hall, a walk on the beach and sprinkled some of hubby's ashes. I will definitely go back, in the off season again, to do more tours and "visit" him.❤️‍🩹 So...looks like you had a "bit" of snow up there! Sorry to see that you didn't get Nellie out before it hit. South Jersey got a dusting at most. Looking forward to more of your videos on everything RV! I'm hoping to have a smaller motorhome in a few years and continue traveling. Maybe we'll be in the same place some day and meet up! Have a wonderful, safe year!

I rotate between General Tso chicken, orange chicken, pork egg foo yung and shrimp egg foo yung. Also have to get an egg roll or dumplings and crab rangoon for dessert.

I haven’t heard of Amazon Fresh. My cousin & her husband just bought a home up near Avalon, they always spent 2 weeks in Stone Harbor in the summer. I have never been to the Jersey shore.

My wife and I never had kids, so our little baby girl is basically like our daughter. We love that baby. Our precious baby girl had cancer 3 years ago also. Cost us a lot of money, but she's worth it. She's doing great now. she's 11 years old 🐕👍🇺🇲

Awww you never ever know animal or human I started off 2023 healthy and finished it unhealthy between achalasia sight issues and sleeping issues I know I will never be able to eat normally or sleep normally treasure every moment with those that you love.

Great video as always. In Florida(Ft. Lauderdale), I havent heard of Amazon Fresh. This is a similar type of checkout at Ft. Lauderdale airport market place where you enter with your credit card and take what you want. No waiting in line to checkout. We are planning a road trip to Maine this summer from Ft. Lauderdale. A suggestion for a video (which you might be planning already) I would like to see would be your road trip down to Tampa. What route your taking, how long your driving per day, where are you making stops. Have a safe trip and see you at RV show.

It was great seeing the dogs. Was wondering how they were doing. Glad they get exhausted after they play around in the dog park. My dog does that too after we rustle around with him. Raw diet and multivitamin. Sierra also gets glucosamine, gabapentin, and Zyrtec daily for her cancer.

Hello MJ and Izzy! What an awesome trip!! When I lived in NC, I used to always love going out to the Outer Banks in the winter, for all the reasons you listed! I have a couple of flights to do on the 4th and 5th. One the way home from the airport, I'll position my travel trailer to my house to get it ready to head out! My dog and I will head out for 6 days in Paradox Colorado (just east of Moab UT and Arches National Park). We'll use camp as the base camp to go on hikes everyday. Unfortunately, the lows will be between 1 and 8......and it won't be above freezing for the 6 days during the day. But....my long hair german shepherd will be heaven with the cool temps!! Unfortunately, I can not do Chinese food. I am usually sick before I get home. My guess is it is the MSG. But, I can eat at some of the other asian places. Very awesome!! Cape May looks really fun! Thank you so much for sharing that with us! Those historical victorian houses are incredible. That is how it is here in Ouray , CO. Most houses are from the mining days of the late 1800s. Yes yes yes!! We all need to make every day count! I really appreciate all people I get to talk to; and I like to make something neat happen every day. Happy New Years!

Looked like a great weekend. We’ve never been to Cape May, we really want to do it, would love to take the ferry from Lewis DE with the rig. As far as Chinese it’s General Tso’s for me and Missy love Kung Pao Chicken. Amazon Fresh, wow, never heard of it, i have a serious amazon addiction, LOL !! See you in a couple weeks.
