Hi! I'm also thinking of the AS luggage rack and am in doubt whether to go for the Enduristan Monsoon 3 or Mosko Moto Reckless 80L. Did you make a decision yet? Any experiences to share? Many thanks!

@@jorambek7199 Hi Joram, no decission yet but my candidates have changed. Enduristan Blizzard or Kriega OS with the new T7 base. I believe I'll go with the Blizzard in L or XL as I want to add the Donner Tech handles as well. And this is impossible with the Kriega OS BASE.

Yep, they are best used with racks for support. It's what I had before this bike, but bot what I would buy for it today.

I admit. My long johns are click-baits to get more subscribers only. I'm such a sell out. Monsoons work well because I had them already. I think I would have considered the Blizzards today to skip the heat shield etc.

@@NomadSweden Would you go with the Blizzards in L or XL size? I believe with the L size it'll be easier to add a role on top across the seat and the Blizzards.

Reckless 80 is not light at 12 lbs and will not rest symmetrical due to exhaust. Monsoon 3's with a dry bag on the seat/rack (20L) is less than 5 lbs total with the benefit of keeping the pillion seat free if necessary.

..and one more question about Monsoon 3 bags. Is there place to fit my wife as a passanger? Thanks :-)

Thanks! The top bag is the Tornado 2 medium. Just attache hed with the hooks. You cab have a passenger but if you want to have a too bag you need a luggage rack to have the top bag further back

@@NomadSweden yep I tought its the Tornado 2, I would buy as well in future probably.. I ment the small one what you have placed on the rack ( I have the same OEM rack ) its the XS base pack? So if I use the rack for Tornado 2 and use the Monsoons on the sides is there enough space to go with the passanger? Many thanks. Keep well

I think you can but it will add weight on the side bags so they need a rack or some support.

It carries weight well offroad (I have about 25kg). On the highway it's great but heavy loaded it can feel a bit wobbly at high speeds. 120km/h and up. (This is part because I have knobby tyres also) You may want to add taller windscreen if you are in to touring. But if unpaved roads or offroads was not my priority, there are better adventure bikes that are a little more road-biased. However, long distance is no problem for this bike. Some want more comfort though.

@@NomadSweden thank you for your time in replying. I am currently weighing up 3 options for a bike to travel the world with as much off road as possible. The T700, the standard Africa twin and the Tiger 900 rally pro...such a tough choice. Any thoughts?

All 3 will make it well. But the T7 would be the least comfortable of the 3. But it has less tech so perhaps the most reliable?

You mean buy food etc? Never had a problem. And i dont go to big cities etc. I am riding in the backroads and visit small towns. If its suspicious i bring the tank bag with me.

Nomad Sweden 🇸🇪 Yeah, exactly food, water etc. There is less and less small shops every year and they are hard to find. Let my soft luggage in front of supermarket is a big risk i guess.

I keep no valuables in my soft bags and I would personally not get hard panniers as long as I am off roading.
