I wouldn't really consider her as your typical Kpop trainee where they had to go through years and years of training before they can even debut. Ailee is that kind of singer which can easily made her way due to her *one of a kind* talent. I mean, even during her 'trainee' days, she already got featured in songs from various artists, most notably Wheesung, in which only after about a year in Korea, she won the reality show Trainee & Singer, which then made her debut just few months after winning. Well, for someone with world-class talent like her, there's no need to waste years of time just for training. Those process are only for those typical autotune/lip-sync idols (which the industry have nowadays). LoL
