A double delivery for the Hopkinton Fire Department - a set of #Enforcer #Pumpers! 🚒🚒
The Enforcer™ chassis establishes uniformity of layout and controls within their fleet. In each crew cab, they will store EMS equipment, water rescue equipment and a refrigerator for rehab supplies. Behind the cabs, both engines will have a six-foot roof hook mounted for firefighters to easily retrieve. To protect the apparatus from chemicals on the roads, they selected galvanized frame-rails, stainless-steel battery boxes and stainless-steel fuel tanks. The SCBA storage is specifically located on the driver’s sides as the operator can easily help a firefighter in need of a spare cylinder at the point of retrieval. Extrication equipment and tools will be stored on the rear of each pumper. By working closely with Allegiance Fire & Rescue and Pierce engineers they were able to maximize compartment spaces, design 750-gallon water tanks and lower the hosebeds to the lowest heights. Located in the dunnage areas, they customized spaces for recessed 100-foot booster lines to keep the overall height of each engine low to fit in their station. The simplistic front bumpers offer space for 150-feet of trash lines and front intakes. #HopkintonMA
