The City of Longwood chose the Enforcer cab for its visibility and size, accommodating crew members and equipment. This pumper has approximately 15% more compartment space than what the department is currently used to. The PUC-style ladder was added to the rear of the truck to access the coffin box that holds items Longwood is required to carry but aren’t using every day. Since 80% of Longwood’s calls are EMS related, the exhaust pipe was turned to go out of the driver’s side of the truck, not onto crew members that continually utilize the EMS equipment compartment.
