I'm so proud of how far they've come smiling like an idiot. 2009 was totally their year. They won both disk and digital daesang. They won 9 consecutive weeks in music bank. This is the year were knetz started to call them nations girl group/ queens of kpop (not sure)? But definitely they made history and broke records. They deserve their title now :)

I’m proud of them because after for so many years they were still humble just like before. They are so polite to their sunbaenims and bowing 90 degrees until now. Their lives must have changed but their personalities will never change.

The only GIRLGROUP since 1986 to WIN DISK DAESANG up until now. I like how SNSD gives credit to their sunbaes who paved the way for them. Unlike today's NEW GENS. We stan a HUMBLE 9 BEAUTIFUL AND TALENTED GIRLS.

who sees this in 2016? I really missed snsd. I just finished watching the melon music award 2016 and suddenly remember SNSD when I saw twice got an award. Maybe because twice has 9 members, reminded me of snsd (in my heart snsd always 9). I just hope the girls will comeback soon, because here there is sone were always waiting for snsd.

SNSD deserves to win it!.. for me aside from having best selling album they won it through their great contributions of widening the Korean wave across Asia and the rest of the world.. it is sponsored by the ministry of culture and tourism so I think its one of the great major factor.. This is so touching, I feel so proud of them. Watching this all over again and it makes me sad too that they can't stand on stage as nine now like they always to say before. We all know that our girls are all grown up woman now. We've been with them for the past 10 years now. Sure, there are some groups that would surpass them now in the charts music shows, or whatever. But we all knew who started it right? The time when KPOP is being dominated by boy groups, our girls stand by their own and made history. Them, who experienced so many hardships together just to be known and be respected artist. Remember Girls go to School? We witnessed everything that they've been through to be here. Really, the statement "As expected, it's Girls Generation" is really hard to achieve. But they manage to do so. So many struggles, but right now, even after 10 years they are still here. Remember when the teenager Taeyeon shouted that she can do it? Well, she really did it. When Miyoung who doesn't know much about Korea went all independent just to fulfill her dream. When Sooyoung who is a rich kid chooses to give up her freedom just to be an idol. When Yuri and Hyoyeon who just at their very young age started their training just to what they are now. When Sunny, who can just use her uncle's power to promote herself but stay with the girls. Our Juhyun who doesn't give up on studies despite people telling her that she should just be an idol. Our Sooyeon who looks so cold outside, but is really warm with the girls. And of course, Our Yoona, the center for the group stood still for her members. Sure, after the departure of our beloved Jessica, things have become a lot becomeult for all the girls. But always remember that the SNSD that stood in front of us 10 years ago, and the SNSD now us still the same if us, SONES would just stay by their sides. The girls never got it easy. Im so going to tell my daughter about these 9 amazing girls. they finally made the generation where kpop is no longer an outsider in music industry, where girl group could have their own light and be accepted. Girls' generation indeed !! Its an honor to be one of their fans 😭😭😭 i simply put so much respect in all korean idols, they thought all of their fame is solely because of their fans? Heck no! They practiced so hard, when the other kids playing around in some park, we stole their freedom and privacy, we want them to all look pretty, yet we judge their looks with 'plastic surgery' label, we critized them when they get extra pounds, we tell that they are no role model for kids when they're too skinny. We said their songs too childish, overrated or no good when all they have to do every comeback time were practice all day long, take a medicine, sing their hearts out, sleep with less than 3 hours, and keep checking the music chart hoping we would love the song enough to be on number 1. After taeyeon got bullied by k-netizen because of her dating scandal, jessica' engagement rumor and withdrawal that forever became our greatest lost and grief, also our poor tiffany that got hit because of some snapchat filter, my heart totally broke for them. But it makes me want to protect them even more. they are still the greatest Korean Girl Group in the history, and hey the world starting to know that !!! So Sone and SNSD, lets celebrate this 10th years with pride and thankful heart. I pray one day, our 9 stars could be together again. (And im going to shoot everyone that brave enough to say SNSD better with 8 members, this is an outstanding career, and they build it with 9 pair of hands. Period)

I dont how i came her. Not a fan coz i havent known them while they were still active but i cried when they cried. And i love how the idols were dealing with each other. Suju really applauded them and patted their shoulders. Nowadays if boy groups will do that to gg. It will become a huge issue, huge fanwars. Simply shows young generations become techy but losing social interaction. Then covid happened. We are facing Quarantine and still people havent learned anything.
