FF entry is most ideally as light breaking as possible it completely ruins the momentum/shift of the car on mid corner to accel/exit. You gotta be at the right point to down shift too if you want to keep this momentum perfect. Also break/balance or how much they grab initially is a huge factor to me like if you can jab/break tap to perfect entry speed/line w.o having to have foot off throttle. FF is so throttle driven in corners vs how momentum/entry driven FR is as far as cornering/speed management. Ultimately the technique with both will determine how quickly you can get back on throttle mid corner to blast for an exit....also when solo hitting a track you can also pick any "ideal" line...vs when theres traffic. Which is why i say the no break entry is about as ideal as it gets...bc its much harder to pull off with cars on the track. I just say this bc FF is like outside/late initate/ entry to cut through a middle/inside line...to outside exit...on a solo run at least. Minimizes G forces and maximizes corner speed/throttle access. But again with traffic or different levels of power/weight cars all sharing a track or just these variables and etc it completely changes how one would hit a corner as far as entry speed/lines and when you can hit throttle for exit...as well as how it sets up for the next section/turn. Its why its nice when its a pack of 100-200 hp 4 bangers. Everyone will know how each other drives after enough time passes.

Its pretty hard to maintain a constant linear braking pressure whilst heel and toeing which is the problem I face when trying to do it on the road
@VictorManuel-pf7se
@VictorManuel-pf7se 7 жыл бұрын
If you're on the road just rev match. Really no need to heel and toe, but then again, you have to train like you fight right?
@museapex
@museapex 7 жыл бұрын
Yeah I do rev match normally but it would be nicer if I could heel and toe as I wouldn't have to prematurely downshift before braking when cornering
@buca9696
@buca9696 7 жыл бұрын
Same here, I either give it too much revs and the car jerks forward, or I stab the brakes too hard while going for the gas pedal. It's especially horrible since the gas pedal is buried in the foot well and my heel hits the centre tunnel if I want to do it like them.
@luisgarcia288
@luisgarcia288 7 жыл бұрын
Try braking and holding it there. Then when you heel toe remember to loosen your ankle, keeping it loose allows you to throw your heel without moving the brake pedal. I had the same problem too
@naliboi93
@naliboi93 7 жыл бұрын
Having that same problem, man haha. I do feel its all part of the learning process. I reckon you'll get more co-ordinated with more practice. My braking during heel and toe is currently far less 'stabby' than what it used to be a few months ago.

@anhiirr

i also love when they do b18c battles in ek/dc2 etc swaps or all k swap battles. You really see aspects of "driving" style like who breaks least first/last, most, which gear they utilize or if gearing is an aspect of play and how it all plays out to how each car/driver creates speed or makes time specifically by their own driving style as well as the wheel base or if its MR like an mr-2 k swap. It really showcases each build/platform and on top of that each drivers style as far as breaking cornering and the gear/power band they access. Sometimes it just bares down to the tire/compound/tread. But still. Watching them push those builds to the limit to best each other sure is a great watch. My favorite part is when they get envious of each others car/build and mock that their fellow drivers dont deserve a build/tune that good XD
