2. Toyota Celica C-One (Tsuchiya Takeshi)
3. Spirits Integra Type R DC2 (Kawasaki Shuhei)
4. Unisia Jecs NRS S15 Silvia (Keiichi Tsuchiya)
5. Spirit Hachiroku AE86 (Yamaji Shinichi)
6. Boss S15 w/ Fujioka Spec S15 Silvia (Orido Manabu)

it's nice to see some Silvias that are actually modified for racing and not drifting or being slammed and made useless, more videos like this please haha

Not all Silvias/S-Chassis are made 'useless' or 'slammed'. Blame the USDM influence. And Silvias aren't picked to be drifted, they're already rear happy so it makes it suitable for drifting. Same thing with AE86s.

It's staged. Orido could have easily passed him on the backstraight in 2 laps. In the end these shows are entertainment and DK has to keep his image alive. Since he and MAX know each other very well they wrote it into the script. Guess anybody has seen anyway which car was fastest here.

The BOSS S15 looks so good. And with that turbocharger inside the car it's one of the best and fastest cars in the Tsukuba circuit.

Ian Vital I'm not Japanese, but the most likely thing for it to be is the transmission Final Drive ratio. The only other things that use FD while referring to cars that I can think of are the 2007 Japanese Model Civic type R and the third gen RX7

If I'm not mistaken, in Australia someone did use an S15 to go rallying. The car had blue with Cusco inspired stripes on the sides.

Truly sad to see the celica rpm limit at 8000. It does wonders to have it a little higher, such as I have witnessed in my celica t-sport. 8250 rpm limit truly does wonders for staying in the power zone. It really is crazy to see a cool celica like this with lower engine performance.

it has a close ratio box, so trying to strain it at 8250rpm all the time wouldnt make sense. at 8g in a rally the engine would last longer.

Some of the most iconic rally cars in history have been Rwd. You should check out rally videos from the early eighties. They were monsters.

It wasn't a pussy move. It's called smart driving. I do the same thing when my friend and I race our bikes on the local walking and biking paths. (concrete, not dirt) I block the inside lines and keep in line with him because I know my bike's slower and it's all over if he passes me. If blocking the inside line is a pussy move, then every professional race car driver must be a pussy in your eyes because they all do it.

Mr. Iida can be a bit of a rough and nervous driver but he was a owner of a Panda AE86 Levin that had the TRD Group A 20v motor so seeing him home in a AE86 is normal for me. He was also part of the Mito Natto Racing street racing AE86 team along with Orido.
