Front and rear double wish bone suspension on altezza's played a major role in its good handing, and controllable abilities.

is it just wishbones or spring wishbones because rs200 l edition has spring wishbones as i know it and what difference would it make

@@bag2963 theyre pretty special cars mate, it appeared from the video that the bmi crew expected the trd version to do better than it did, so there was probably a fault.

@@benh4222 Yeah I know, I love these cars, but there are no LHD RS200s so that is a deal breaker for me, like it was almost a perfect car- RWD, relatively light, okay fuel consumption, reliable, the overall design, tunability... I only found one LHD conversion, but I'm not sure anyways. It's been few weeks since I'm was thinning about the alternatives and E36 would be an alternative, but I prefer Altezza, so I'm thinking about E39-the best looking BMW sedan, good torque I6 engines, reliable, comfortable, more wide spread, classic and prices are rising so I'm looking at it as an investment too.

Another great battle with the golden age of best motoring drivers, old man gansan, tsuchyia, I'm looking at getting an Altezza RS200, its pretty impressive in stock form, hard to compete with super light Type-R's, thanks for the upload!

+Kingsoupturbo The Altezza is a hidden gem. In stock form it was keeping up with the turbo AWD skyline. VERY impressive. But something was off with the TRD model

Altezza is Very good. Foor door sport car for sure... but something was wrong with the TRD model. The NA Altezza was running better then the TRD model. The stock NA altezza is very good giving a Turbo AWD skyline a run for its money. Never would expected that very good Toyota

+Toyota4Life the trd has the same engine. trd version is just different accessories like steering wheel, pedals etc. look at the start. both altezzas pwr and twr is the same.

yeah but the TRD altezza, in the video it said: the TRD altezza has a brand new engine unit. maybe it was not broke in yet

@@dvtc8u they said the trd had a good 1/4 mile time but it wasnt showing that on the track, it definately had an issue on the day.

Probably valve clearance issue not letting a valve fully open or maybe low blinker fluid

Now I have seen many episodes from this show and whenever a skyline is involved in the Race, it is always the winner. The Integra R is an incredible racing machine, but the skyline (even if not a gtr) might be a little too overpowered when compared with the other cars I think...

The 4th gen prelude is the king of all preludes. It faster hands down in every way vs the 5th gen. It the 4th gen would hold off the ctr.

preludeF20Bking the drivers never push the Preludes to their full potential however if we were comparing USDM models the 4th gen is faster every day of the week however take JDM models in account if you took the fastest stock 4th gen it wouldn’t beat the 5th gen SiR S-spec because it’s 132 pounds lighter and it doesn’t have ATTS and it has 30 more hp

I know the prelude is light in the rear but anyone knows getting back on the gas would straighten the car out . @ 5:10 he looks like hes trying to exaggerate the handling characteristics by not getting back in the throttle and not taking the proper racing line for that corner(also shifts way too early). Prelude shouldnt be getting beat on the straights by the 4 door integra when the prelude has a better power to weight and torque to weight ratio. I know gearing can play a role but the preludes gears arent that bad. I can see the driver is not shifting at 8k like hes supposed to.

the prelude is a pretty different driving experience and is heavier than almost all of the other cars, I think a lot of us could agree that the prelude driver in these races are always shifting slow or not driving it the way we wish they would.. prelude always has the potential to win these races but are always sandwiched at the back

this is under 30k back when they came out in the late 90s and early 2000s, which equates to about 50k~ today
