i loved the soul and thoughts put into the choreo the first time i saw them dance thru the mv, like its really not about the synchronization or anything that kpop heavily emphasises abt, but rather the emoting thru the movements and that really captured my attention~ it's like they're different in their own ways in expressing but they all still tell a story

When i saw the choreo the first time i got so excited cos even without knowing the intention of the choreographer u can feel the many layers of ideas that went into it. The choreo is very different but very SHINee, and contemp elements do suit Onew a lot! Koharu the filigree choreographer🤩

I'm happy that Taemin introduce Koharu to SHINee so they can be friend. She is a good woman and great teacher. So are SHINee gonna adopt her as a mom too like Rino? If so i'll be happy

so maybe this is why i love this song so much. it smacks of SHINee but it is different, just like she described it. she is excellent at capturing their strengths and individuality while meshing perfectly together.

when I saw the choreo for good evening, especially the ending, I immediatly thought : this has to be Taemin's choreographer, she has her own style, she makes beautiful shapes and create a special "ambiance" with it, if you look for taemin's live version of Stone Heart you can see what I mean and see the resemblance with Good evening and I want you, she's super talented, she makes subtile moves look cool, very polished very detailed and it suits Taemin really well but it works really well with Shinee as a group too

I hope one day she will choreograph a solo dance for Onew...

Thank you for this sub! I really love how Koharu-san is explaining all the process of this choreography making. I actually love everything about contemporary dance because it involves a lot of feeling mixed with the dance so nobody can dance in the exact same way, it's always unique. And I think it really was the perfect type of choreography for Good evening. I love how it's SHINee-centered, it's a song for them and it's a good thing for every group to have a song like that. They can really express themselves. Really the song itself is great for me, but the choreography made it even better. So thank you for this choreography Koharu-san!

Thanks for putting this up! I've been a huge fan of hers since my friend (big tap dancer in London) showed me her work back when we were in college and hearing her talk about creating dance is so inspiring, even more so incorporating dance as a way for SHINee to heal is beautiful.

Koharu is the most original dance choreographer I've ever witnessed and I've seen plenty in 20 years her connection / understanding of music and ability to paint a perfect picture for anyone along with her soul intertwined with her immense attention to detail and technique on top of a lot of natural talent makes her the greatest Imo I hope she gets the credit and recognition she has deserved for all of these years 💯

I love that for this choreography they basically just sat down to compliment each other, it sounds like it was a peaceful and healing time for them.

I've been a fan of hers for a while now so when I saw Good Evening's choreo I immediately knew it was her. I first saw her from a collab with other Japanese choreographers (it's called asterisk plus watch it!!) And whether her dancing is relaxed or powerful it still has a distinct character to it and can be easily distinguished as her style. I was so happy when I first saw her with Taemin on Hit The Stage. There are so many talented people and I'm glad she's one that has gotten popular 💕💕💕

i think koharu's dances are really great at conveying different layers of emotion. im a dancer myself and doing types of dances like good evening are my favorite to dance to. i feel so free and i let go of all my thoughts and stress when doing those types of dances. not having a strict routine is such a great feeling and is a great way for me to express my emotions. dance isnt just about flashy movement, but also about the meaning behind it. this choreography is so wonderful and i always wonder what is going on in their minds as theyre performing it. koharu and taemin have inspired me so much and i always think back to them when im dancing or choreographing my own dances. i've learned so much from them. 💙
