Use mosquito repellent or killer every night. And yeah... give her food that increases her platelet count even more. More juices, beetroot, leafy vegetables etc. No fast food for now 🙏 She is a baby... that's why she needed more care. Good that you got her admitted in hospital. P.S: ₹75,000 is not bad for 3 day stay in private hospital tbh...which includes ICU, Private room & food for your baby too 👍

I had contracted dengue, and I got well in 3 days because of papaya leaves juice. Try to give her as much as papaya raw and its leaves juice, rest and hydration being priority! Don't give her milk or milk based products, try to make Kichidi from rice, carrots, beetroot add in some ghee for flavor, due to fever her taste must be gone, try to give her some lemon Achar along with Kichidi, and twice papaya. Engage her in fun activities like drawing and singing and stuff. Try to ask some of your Indian friends mother's, they will give you the best advice for dengue diet food.

For keeping mosquitoes away. Apply mosquito repellant cream when going outside. Its really helps. And wearing full clothes is also a option.

She’s a brave kid! I was 14 when I suffered from Dengue. I lost all my energy and was feeling so weak and helpless. My parents fed me raw papaya and papaya leaves juice which helped my platelets come back to normal level. I was hospitalised and it took me 10 days to recover.
