I so appreciate Leedo's absolute transparency and honesty with fans. He doesn't sugar coat things to make us feel better. I love that and this is what we need more of from our idols. Leedo is a really good man, and I wish him all the best in everything he does now and in the future. Thank you so much for translating his vlive

This was difficult to listen to but I really admire how he felt comfortable sharing these things, even if they were perhaps damning to the record label. I hope he doesn’t receive negative repercussions for speaking out in this way. I think that’s why a lot of idols aren’t more open about these extreme lengths they go through to get their bodies the way they are “supposed” to have. Leedo is my ult bias wrecker (after Taemin…talk about duality…) and this has made him even more endearing to me. He keeps it real in a way I’ve never seen before. Discussing both his body and his hair, he kept gently pushing the fact that it wasn’t his choice and he had no say in the matter was really brave in this industry.

@@thespianoge I agree! it was really hard to hear that he struggled with the preparation for this comeback. But hopefully it is eye opening regarding how incredibly toxic entertainment companies are (both in Korea and in the US) and will help fans recognize that fact.

As someone who used to suffer from an eating disorder and has indigestion sometimes, I can understand Leedo that after going extreme, even when you get the weight goal or the body you want, it still feels miserable. But on top of that, he still works out, prepares for the comeback, and has rehearsals, that's really concerning. I'm glad he's saying that he's doing better now and as much as I'm excited about this comeback, I just wish all the members don't push themselves too far
