A cliffhanger! I think it's a choice between the 1st and 3rd stage. My instincts say you chose the 1st stage. But you also put a lot of work into getting a trail at the 3rd stage. Looking forward to see which one it is.

Hey! Im currently working as a pastry chef and i feel like the 1st one is a better option! Every workplace should have a break time and no matter how good it is, it is ultimately showing the kind of environment you will be in for the long haul

Hi Eungyeong, I have been thinking about you and your continuing studies. You have learned a lot, plus the knowledge you already had, will serve you well wherever you end up. I wish you and your classmates, find nice places to work at, and I hope you will remember this. Wherever each one of you goes, you will be able to do amazing things and probably surprise yourself at what you've accomplished. Your bosses may not tell you when you have done well, but you will know, and that is something nice to hold onto. In my internship a senior chef was extremely abusive and rude to my female colleague and I confronted him, told him how disgusted I was with him and that was no way to treat a person, a woman and a co-worker, and he should be ashamed of himself as a husband and as a senior chef. He stopped, and she thanked me for stepping up for her. The plus side was I catered a 200 guest wedding and another chef called me up to work on two weddings. One was Portuguese with all kinds of seafood and the other was Italian with all kinds of pasta. It was a nice experience for me. I had a knack for guessing how much prep was needed for salads and the chef above me kept testing me, and I was always right. Some kitchen angel must have decided to give me something to be good at. When my internship was over, that was it. I had returned to finish my classes. We all had stories to tell. I graduated, but I was not fit to work in restaurants and all the places I worked at had domineering people in authority, and I'm pretty quiet. For me, it didn't seem to matter what position I held, I was still made to feel lowly. Your family and your own business in Seoul are stepping stones, and growing your culinary knowledge through this school is an accomplishment in itself. I am always rooting for you and I believe I can send positive energy your way to keep fighting, be strong and take care of yourself. People like to knock other people down, but you don't have to fall. My love and spirit. It will be interesting to see which place you've chosen to go with, and I hope you meet many nice people along the way.

Thank you for sharing your story. This will probably be something that comes to my mind when I’m working at a restaurant someday. I appreciate all your support. It means a lot to me.

@@euncook Thank you, I have been where you are on a lesser scale. The school you are at has a long history of professionalism and respect, which carries a lot of merit with it. I would think the places you and your classmates experience will be quite satisfactory and memorable. I'll look forward to hearing about your choice and where your other friends are going. Take care and enjoy your weekend.

Hi, I'm sure you are very busy as well as your classmates. I hope your experience has been a good one and the last term of the school goes well. I imagine your friends had stories to tell about accomplishments that seemed to be like miracles. I just wanted to send some cheer and lift your spirits up. It will be nicer going around campus now, with the ducks enjoying the spring as much as the students. For all your classes, I happily say,FIGHTING!!! Take care Eungyeong.....
