The second answer is only right if you have 02 different types of match. If all matches have the same length, it is impossible to create a smaller square :))

Not really impossible, but you couldn't do it exactly as Kyung drew it. You'd just have to push the ends of the center matches so they're sticking out of the corners of the larger square a bit.

If the matches are the same length, then you cannot do the triangles like he did it inside the square. The triangles are isosceles triangles, but one of the equal angles is 90, which is impossible. I wish I could add an image to explain.

same i thought so too. can't they make a square with 4 matches, put 1 more in the middle to make two rectangles. then put 2 matches as the rectangle diagonals to make 4 triangles? but i guess that's wrong since it uses only seven matches.

두번째 문제 맞는건가요?? 모두 같은 길이의 성냥개비인데, 만약에 가운데 작은 사각형이 정사각형이라면 그 사각형을 둘러싸고 있는 네개의 삼각형들의 안쪽 각들도 직각이어야겠죠? 하나하나가 동일한 직각 삼각형이란 말인데, 성냥개비의 길이는 모두 같다고했죠. 피타고라스에의해서 직각과 마주보는 변(큰정사각형의 하나의변)의 길이가 직각과 접해있는 두변의 길이보다 길수 밖에 없어요. 오류가있죠

its just a math problem every individual digit in a page number counts as one, so: pages 1-9 have one digit each, pages 11-99 have 2 digits each, and pages 100-999 would contain 3 digits each they are just trying to figure out how many pages would fit the number of digits given counting up pages 1-99 locked in at 189 digits means with 2010 digits total (2010-189), we are left with 1821 digits. we can use math to see that if there were 999 pages, the 900 triple digit pages (100-999) would be a total of (3 digits x 900 pages) 2700 digits. since 1821 (our leftover digits) is less than 2700, we know that there are less than 999 pages and can finish the problem. 1821 digits / (3 digits per page) = 607 pages since we only calculated the triple-digit pages for 607, we need to add the first 99 pages we calculated earlier, so the answer is: 706

나는 성냥으로 사각뿔 만들었는데 그럼 정사각형두개 정삼각형 네개임 정사각형 하나는 바닥에 하나는 성냥이 나무부분 밑바닥이 정사각형 이니까 밑바닥 부분을 위로 가게끔해서 내게를모으면 중간에 정사각형 공간이됨.

He is a genius though, he's a mensa member with an iq of 156. If you solved it at 8 years old and solved it in 30 seconds then good for you but do not hate on people that are called 'genius' just because you can answer what they can answer.
