I do feel bad for A-Jax or other boy groups that came on Weekly Idol with another girl group. They do have a disadvantage. But it's because they're rookies, both girl and boy groups. And a lot of people might not know them yet. To make it more entertaining, they make both group compete with each other in a fun way. And u know boy-boy groups at the same time..uh uh. People complain about how the guy group doesn't get enough attention, yet when you think about it thats promortion right there. People feel bad and want to learn more about them and would go look at their stuff after. Just because of kpop culture if the reverse was done then it would not have the same effect for the girls, so i think the way the mc treated people first is for a comedic affect and is also just distributing the interest people have int he groups.

i'm so new to A-jax, but they were hella funny! especially their leader and their visual! also loved the maknea! i have no idea who the girls are but Daeun was glowing! :) FIGHTING!!

The whole favoring girlgroups thing is a long running gag on this show. It's not meant to be taken seriously, and the boys knew what they were getting into. Honestly A-Jax played it off really well, and managed to keep bringing the attention back to them. From previous experience watching rookie episodes with this format, the boys did well enough to basically guarantee themselves a solo appearance next comeback.

Came for A-Jax, and then suddenly, that moment when a Mika song starts playing...lmao 24:57...

a lot of people are complaining that a-jax didn't get the attention they deserved, etc., but tbh considering all the hate girl groups get by default (don't you dare try to deny it) i think it balances out, because the favoritism 2eyes got and the bias ajax got is the same as what guy groups get and girl groups get and hyundon and doni didn't even hate that much on ajax.. they were pretty fair to them except for the intro (which was mostly done for comedy)
