In the video, other costars talked about YZ always asked them when filming if she was pretty (P.S. You know, young girl sometimes will do like this...) DL said from 27m06s, “I help YZ to proof. When I first time met her, she was quite a lady, with a little bit sexy, and a little bit shy. But from second time...may be we get much familiar...so...” DL first impression of YZ is a WOMAN, absolutely not “neither man nor woman”, not “I treat her as Bro, she treat me as Sis.” YZ seems outgoing at film site to create a happy work atmosphere to her coworkers, many of them mistaken YZ characters likes a boy. But actually she is not. She is quite sensitive and shy at inner side. The important point is DL know this, and he always talked in the interview (before fans war, especially just after filming of AOL) “She is a shy girl actually.”

1. at that time YZ avatar was cartoon style pic of her bf 5:06. Also in wechat moment she always had photos with bf (her friend said so in another interview). Someone said DL cooled to YZ in this interview, not interested for her wechat moment. Come on, he just dun want to see her together with her bf at that time. 2. The interview day should be 22 Aug 2017, media site visit of AOL. There also were several interview on the same day. ( Check their costumes, same as Ep.12 - Water Immortal announced JinMi is his daughter) From other shippers observation, two of them may had some argument and a bit angry to each other (as their reaction were not natural) because a)An unconfirmed source said that YZ bf at that time visited her on site a few days ago. b) During the media site visit group interview, some reporters asked YZ how would she celebrate Chinese Valentine’s Day in Aug with bf, would she prepare present blah blah blah. DL pulled a long face and some shippers even commented that his facial expression seemed like want to punch someone. This interview should be after media site visit. Yes he do like yang zi since before. He mention of one interview. He got crush on her while watching her TV show. They get closed when filming flowers of fog. I think he try to court her but yang zi dad wants her finish college. So they just maintain their friendship. But you can really see in his eyes he really cares of yang zi.

I'll probably get butchered for saying this, but, I'll say it anyway. DL's replies and actions have been very rude towards YZ. There.. I have said it. Come at me! I'll defend my girl YZ and stand up for her. They might be great friends off screen, but, if i were in YZ's place and my great friend gave some of the replies he gave, I'd be hurt very badly.

They love teasing each other. Deng lun said that's what they talk to each other then after a while they nice to each other. I think they do that for fun and enjoy each other company. Deng lun mention also he was really happy doing AOL even yang zi. That's why when that drama finish both of them are sad.

They were made to say hurtful words here though and besides, they are good friends who fight like husbands and wife, play like siblings and respect each other as comrades. You should really see how much DL treats her. It is very different from how he treat his other co-stars.

I think DL the way his talking and action, it’s more like he love attention to YZ . I saw their video in flower in fog, their still young that time and DL is just starting shy boy. Now their together again I think she miss a lot and very memorable for him that time.
