At wedding dinner Poor Family had to endure such embarrassing and demeaning treatment from all his family. His dad no respect by not showing up at all, sister was atrociously disgusting how she dissected them for being poor like it’s your duty to let me diss you by class can and can’t do, he lacked the balls to defend her family against the onslaught dumped on them, his mother also insulted, and he only thought of what type wedding he wanted not asking her what did she want! poor brother had to eat the fish tail🥹😡🤬. I’m assuming the ML’s attitude will change over the course of the show- because at the moment he’s almost as bad and zjialiangs family in his belief about the FL- he’s just polite about it! But he’s very cynical and thinks the FL is as focused on money and status as he seems to be at the moment
