Γιασεμη Κουκουζα Greece people are passing for severe economic crisis because of your own fault. No mercy for them! Greece citizens were enjoying the beneficial position in being part of euro monetary policy, they were using their debts in euro for personal spending.. not in production or manufacturing, and there are so many public useless employees in Greece for nothing! The results are obvious, high unemployment, fiscal deficit, broken nation...BYE BYE GREECE!

I'm sorry, but much of our and the older generation were raised with the idea that money grows on trees. I recently turned 18 and before that I would be perfectly fine with no money at all - as long as I can get some meal at home and have my clothes on my back. I don't need to drink frappe every other hour at the platia, or smoke, or drink energy drinks. There's really no need for expensive mobile phones or mobile plans, let alone owning two, which was very common with my classmates and is common with adults. The majority of the youth drives cars and motorcycles, and this requires gas money, when they can use public transportation or cycle, like I do. I go to work with my bike. Yes, it takes me 30 minutes to get to Omonoia but so what. Athens has one of the best public transportation in Europe - people should use it. There are poorer countries in Europe but I don't see them complaining about it. We'll get better soon, that's what we do, but not with this attitude. Humility, unfortunately, is not a Greek trait.

+Andreas Kostopoulos Well, I was born in Russia in a small village, we never had a lot of money just the basics to live. Then my family moved to Greece for a better life cause all of our relatives live there and when we moved back in 2004 we were poor compered to everyone else. We didn't have a lot of money but it was better than living in Russia. Then my father died and everything went wrong. Then we had the crisis. So I never had the idea that money grows on trees. Actually, now even though most of the people have a bad time, I'm really happy and gratefull for what my mom and I have and what we achieved the past 3 years. But many people are not used to the harsh life and nobody can blame them for not experience harsh times beforehand.

+Panda In Black Well, it looks like you don't really follow the Greece's debt story. Not all of countries in Europe are as rich as you think. For example is UK. They used to be part of Eurozone. You might think that its a rich country but they apparently dropped out from Eurozone because of their loans and decided to use their own currency to save their financial crisis. As for the other countries, the biggest lenders for Greece are Germany with 56B euro followed by Italy and France. The loans keep getting bigger and overdue and Greece couldn't pay back.

+Panda In Black Sadly the crisis in Greece is much more severe than what anybody can think currently. Europe Commission, ECB, and IMF have been funding Greece since 2010, total of 240 billion euro. But the IMF (International Monetary Fund) is starting to question Greece's ability to pay back since Greece have failed to pay back the first and second fund from them. Greece has been rejecting third fund but I believe yesterday they finally accepted the fund which was 86 billion euro. Greece always had a problem with finances due to political and economical corruptions and also joining EU hit Greece hard because joining EU means they cannot regulate their currency to their national price. (all EU nations use unified currency called euro and if one country does better financially and raises the euro market then others have to follow since it's unified. But Greece couldn't follow that euro raise that was happening.) So if EU countries try to help Greece it will fluctuate the euro currency and affect all EU nations and so it needs to be dealt very carefully. But from the look of it... Greece is going to suffer. I do not like how the prime minister of Greece is trying to handle this situation. He is still trying to play games with the international organizations. The national income is played by politicians like their own money and that leading to international trust issues and that leads to lesser funds from international organization and just vicious vortex of suffering... I'm sorry if I bombarded you with all the infos.. I just get emotional with this topic cuz Korea also had similar incident.
