actually, the company can afford paying for music shows but they are not risking it because everglow are still rookies and they just debuted. Although for me it is a wrong move, everglow is actually getting a lot of attention so its worth risking money for them tbh ☹

I see many accounts say that their company didn't pay enough they always get cut. It seems counterintuitive 1, since their company already invested so much by getting this song by those top notch producers (same as TXT) and choreography (Lia Kim) 2, I noticed in some shows like MCD LOONA's later Butterfly comebacks were also cut when there are more groups performing.

They’re not from a small company, Yuehua is a massive company in China and therefore has the finances to back everglow sufficiently. In terms of status, in Korea it may be a less popular company but it’s definitely known.

@@aqsah14 Definitely not big enough to win. There was too much competition. They were up against MAMAMOO, IZ*ONE, SKZ, KARD, MOMOLAND, Taeyeon, Ji Hoon, TXT, BLACKPINK etc. at some point...I know KARD didn't win but that's likely because of the tough competition.
