Thanks for your comments. Based on the details you mentioned, the load you tested should draw at least 1A and should be detected by the i400e and F116. I think you clamped your i400e on just one line of your service entrance (either line 1 or line 2) hence you got a reading. That's the correct way of using a clamp meter to detect current. If you clamp on both lines 1 and 2 at the same time, like in a fixed duplex cable for appliances, you won't get a reading since the electromagnetic fields of the two lines will cancel each other out inside the i400e, hence the F116 will show zero reading. You may need some sort of line splitter to get your i400e to clamp on only one line if you want to test current for some household loads.

Hello, for TRMS DMM may I suggest Fluke 115 or Fluke 117. If budget would allow consider also Hioki DT 4261. There are other choices out there but these are ones I already own and have found to be good instruments. Thanks for watching.

Sir suggestions ko lang po ito. Nabanggit po ninyo multimeter for basic testing. I assumed you mean household AC/DC voltage, resistance, continuity, diode and capacitance. I'm not sure of your budget but there are a lot of digital multi meters (DMM) below P1000 from brands like Zotek, Richmeter, Aneng, Vastar, Peakmeter, and even Ingco. Pero wala po akong experience sa mga brand na ito. What I have is the UNI-T 139C (P2.1k), which I recommend. It still works without any problems. You might also want to consider the UNI-T 33A+ (P800 to P900). Pero nabanggit nyo din po current. Assuming again you meant household current, you would need a stand alone clamp meter for this. The only budget AC/DC current clamp meter that I can recommend to you is the Kyoritsu Kew Snap 203 which cost P2.7k. I have it and it works according to its specs without any problems. It has some DMM functions too like AC/DC voltage, resistance and continuity, but no diode, no capacitance and no backlight. Note that UNI-T and Peakmeter have several budget DMMs. They also have clamp meters cheaper than the Snap 203, but with many more features. Just weigh the pros and cons for your particular purpose and the buyers feedback on them. Work safe. Good luck!

Love your channel sir, I owned two of this Fluke multimeter actually comes with combo 323/116, as HVAC mechanic is a budget friendly. Kong gusto sa iba merong extra meter at may kunting budget get a fluke, i carried different brand like Fieldpiece, UEI, but so far Fluke brand is a way to go. Keep up sa magagandang video sir.
