The beginning scene was so well written as an orphan who was never been treated with special care and concern who never enjoyed enough food was very right to question that ritual (definitely not the way she created the scene in front of the grave) at the same time how the teacher explained her after instead of shouting at her at that very moment

I like the relationship portrayed here between the teacher & his wife. In other dramas, it's usually an under appreciated husband with an overbearing, rude wife that belittles him on a regular basis.

toutou trying to laugh off what she experienced by saying it's a lie, but the way she said it, you can't tell it was true. I feel so bad for her, she didn't experience much love, much food, much care. ofc she is the way she is. that's why professor ren didn't call her out for her outburst, he knows and he wants to slowly, patiently take care of her cos she never experienced that before.

Exactly my opinion too. People are ready to spend huge money in the form of rituals and expects others to follow their superstitious beliefs too. And if anyone defies, then that person is called out as disrespectful and hated. Instead of wasting food & money on rituals which clearly brings no use to anyone, people can spend it on people who are really in need like orphanages, old age homes, downtrodden people who can't afford education etc. A person who helps people in need is much blessed than those who seek blessing through these kind of superstitious rituals

Everyone is talking about how Mr Ren needs to be more flexible towards his son. He's already receiving enough support and love from his grandpa and mom if his father indulges him too he'd just be a rich spoil brat. He's this humble just cause of his father And he's only nice to tou tou cause she's an orphan who never received love. He even explained her behavior.
