I never thought that Ive missed a big thing. Basically I avoided this series knowing that it's about the relationship between a student and an old man teacher. Now I decided to watch this, and reality slaps me so hard. This is so great, I really like it. Can't believe I ignore this too long. I will remember this movie forever. Can't wait to watch it again and again.

"Your cowardice makes me feel stupid for being so determined." - I'll be honest one of the best line I heard on a BL Series. I rarely see a character like Shi Yi Jie especially on how he handles his relationship with Fei Sheng. We need more of him on BL World.

Honestly, that's the reason this is one of my favorite BL. It's not some naive, cliché filled story with stupid drama. This was so well written and has strong characters. I love it!

Absolutely loved this especially Shi Yi Jie's character. How he is clear about his feelings, standing for the one he cares for and the handling the situation with maturity. Beautiful family it is and cutie pie You You is an added blessing to their love life.

I thought so too. But this is a teacher and college student, not with highschool student (or even younger????) who still a minor. They're both matured and legally form a relationship with each other.

He ends up being his teacher completely by happenstance because the original professor couldn’t teach. Plus he doesn’t make a habit of dating his students or really dating anybody (or using his professorship for favoritism or privileges). This isn’t like a Japanese drama where it’s this torrid, romanticized teacher-high school student (usually older male-younger female) “relationship.”

I do not know how describe this episode. It hit me to my core. This is not just about determination, assurance, commitment and love. It tackles deeper than that and it is undescribable and it can only be felt. I wish we can all have someone like Shi Yi Jie who will stood for us no matter how sticky the situation may be. I wish we can have someone like him who will not tolerate us if we have done something horrible that hurt his feelings. His action towards Fei Sheng Zhe after hurting him was not just merely a pride war but more of a teaching a lesson process.

I loved the series. YoYo is so extra, literally poor thing that they threw her out in the middle of saying that she wanted to be the flower girl HAHAHA, I loved her. A few days ago I saw another one from History but this one surpasses it by far, I loved everything, I swear, it's wonderful. It took me all morning but I finished the series without stopping, I love it. I need to know if it has a novel, I must read it all and fall in love again

I love their relationship with each other and with You You. I also love how Shi Yie Jie made it clear there will be no reconciliation. The ex threw her family away and she can't just waltz back in but she clearly thought she could. I also like how possessive he was of Shi Yi Jie with the ex and was like you can see your daughter but Shi Yi Jie is mine. And the brother laid some home truths down when he told his sister they've moved on basically and you threw them away so now you have to deal with the repercussions of your actions. I honestly couldn't believe her nerve. To complain that your then sick child needed you but it was too much for you and he was working 2 jobs and trying to take care of the family. Ugh, the nerve. Kids cry honey, it's gonna happen.

They worked with everything so beautifully that I feel stupid for ignoring this series for so long just because some age gap. 6:22 as usual, Shi Yi Jie is assertive and sees the situation clearly. Like when he told the mom not to insult her own son by suggesting her son was being used to fill Shi Yi Jie's void/emptiness/loneliness. There's no pulling the wool over Shi Yi Jie's eyes.

this is a really good series love it very much. Sheng Zhe had so much pain yet so many worthy moments between them. I enjoy watching age gap story and this series is really more than that. The girl and his best friend Ye Zi are people that we need more in this world. They both are so funny, tough and supportive.

Shi Yi Jie & Xiao Fei looked at each other & were about to kiss and suddenly: You You: "Dad, I want to be a flower girl!". She is so adorable in this part and then her father swiftly caught her & hugged her with his right hand so she didn't see them kissing! 😄. They are very lucky. You You is a lucky child because she has 2 great fathers (also her biological mother), a good grandmother (Xiao Fei's mother) and loving uncles and aunts (Shao An & Fei Zhi).

I don't know if anybody else noticed it but I loved it when Shi took his glasses off and laid them on the table before they went into the bedroom and for somebody who this was their first time you have to admit that Fei was certainly not shy .I really did like this series I'll miss them wish there was more or there could be a second year.

Idk how stupid I was like I ignored this series only by observing the thumbnail and saw shi ji yei I thought this series isn't my cup of tea. But bruhhhh- I-🤡 clowned now for me the best clear and straight forward character in whole BL history is - SHI JI YEI 😭🥂💓

Student-teacher relationship have always consequences, either the teacher kick out from school (worse removing licensed).. student will be bullied (maybe he’ll transfer to other school).. keeping it secret for the meantime is good idea, just be patience till he graduated. No issue, no problem
