【Synopsis】The story tells the legend of the QingLuan mirror and Lican sword, which is said to be able to reunite the country when possessed by the owner. These items were once formerly owned by the Dragon Sect and are now lost. Before the demise of the Dragon Sect leader, the information regarding the location of these heirlooms, is handed down to the only remaining maiden: Yuan Qiao Suo. She is told by her master that she is not to give away the location to anyone as it could end up in the wrong hands and bring about chaos.
Upon the death of her master, she goes in search of the lost mirror and sword, under the disguise of the high official from Northern Zhou Court Si Kong's wife's niece. During her journey, she comes across the Prince Gao Chang Gong (a.k.a Prince of Orchid Hills) and Yu Wen Yong. Her romance blooms with both and she must choose who to help and who to love.

It's okay to suspend reality while watching a drama. 1. Many Chinese actresses use the "Minnie Mouse" voice; Esther Yu is a good example. It appears through observation of many C-dramas, this could be a standard. 2. Fantasy dramas by their nature are not to be taken seriously. There are enough things in life where we must look at the reality of a situation. C-dramas themselves, are not one of them.

Why would a little girl from another country, agree to marry into a family, and find some treasure she doesn't even know what it looks like?? Then she loses her memory too? She looks like a teenager, and yet has handsome men in different countries falling in love with her. Too far fetched to believe. So many costume dramas I've seen has these little little, cute, teenage looking leading ladies, and handsome leading men falling for them..huh?? Are there no beautiful, age appropriate actresses in China? To top it off, everyone thinks she's a spy...🤔🙄🙄😑😑😳😳😳

@@lauriepowell3959 Her nickname can be confusing. Two Chinese actresses have the name Baby Zhang. Her real name is Zhang Hanyung aka Kristi Zhang. I always wondered if this was her real voice or dubbed.

No, it is not meant to be realistic, it is a fantasy C-drama based on a timetravel historical fiction-fantasy novel with historical and fictional characters, and lots of fantasy stuff like a magical guqin, a flying whistling pearl, a magical sword, a miracle mirror, a face-changing character etc. And yes, there are a lot of actresses over 20 in China , like Zhang ZiYi in Rebel Princess, Jiang Qin Qin in Marvelous Women, Victoria Song in Luoyang, Crystal Liu in A Dream of Splendor, Zhou Xun in Ruyi´s Royal Love, Tiffany Tang, Charmaine Sheh, and many many more. Zhang Hanyung (1989) was 27 years old when she played the role of QuinSuo.

Well I really pushed myself to watch 9 episodes. The main girl character is sooooo irritating. Hates her husband, always causing trouble. I couldn’t watch anymore, not good.
