Its kind of sad seeing him join this show. I mean he has sweet voice, can dance, can rap, good in composing, and all of his musics are totally my type. Kind of eargasm, not typical kpop song in general.

Inne it really is sad and the reason why he has to participate in a survival show is even sadder. It’s not like the members of Uniq aren’t doing well, Individually they are all very well known especially the chinese members, but they are no longer known for being idols/singers when that’s what they trained for so many years. The reason why he and 2 of his members joined survival shows is because they just want back on stage, they don’t care about fame but they just miss standing on stage

Honey10tion Up you should definitely check out Uniq, they had huge potential to be big, especially in China but because of the Hallyu ban they haven’t been active as a team for years. Now two members have successfully become the centers of two survival show boy groups and their maknae Yibo is a superstar in China. I’m pretty sure that his reason for joining this show is the same as his fellow members. It’s that he probably missed standing on stage and this was the only way to get back on it. It’s not about fame for them but they just want to go back to how they used to be

csy_luvluvluv i hope it’s a good sign that he’s getting much more screen time than his labelmates? judging from this performance alone i can already tell seungyoun got the best rank, and then seongjun next since they tried to just insert some shots of him trying to engage with the trainers. idk if they’ll come back to yuehua in the next ep tho since they still have so many other companies’ performances to cover, but i hope they do at least show the trainers announcing it and not wait until they’ve moved onto learning the steps for the theme song and we find them in different corners in their different coloured jumpers lol

From the videos that already exist showing the estimated rankings based on the Produce x 101 focus stages, he ranks C (Although, this is after they do the video exam thing, so I have no idea what score he got for the this audition)

Something X2 yeah i know about his re-evaluation rank but that’s based on how quickly the trainee can learn a piece of choreo and, at least for the context of all these survival shows, be able to sing stably and do high notes while still dancing. he proved the latter part through this performance, and being able to learn choreo quickly does not 100% reflect how talented one is, so regardless of his re-evaluation rank i just hope the rank he got from this evaluation isn’t too bad because he deserves a good one.
