I’m kinda confused by his attitude. Wasn’t his original proposal for them to form a real family? Acting only bec they don’t have the feelings yet, but have to get married quickly for the kids? But what he did and how he reacted implied he was just doing it as a contract marriage, no feelings involved. We already know he has ulterior motives bec the little girl is of their lineage (not sure if they’re really his own kids). So it really makes him a crappy person, he already was a questionable dad. She has always been straight with him, sincere. She deserves someone who can be honest with her, not someone who calculates and manipulates to achieve his goals. He also got her at a very vulnerable time. He could have offered his help no strings attached. It’s gonna be bad when she finds out the truth of her daughter’s connection with him and that he knew early on.

Don't blame him for being cold downstairs. There's a misunderstanding between BOTH of them. Don't petty her alone, petty both of them for where they are now. I think he really likes her, but his consciousness doesn't know it yet. His unconsciousness definitely does know it already. How he smiled when she went into her home after he brought her home in the rain from her workplace. How he looked at her their first night together as legally husband and wife. How he respected her and her feelings when he asked her kindly and softly, bit shy 🤭 "are you okay with this and this" to PLAY a loving couple in front of others. She KNOWS this. How he said to himself "why does my brain feel so messed up" after their 'acting' fight. After that fight, he felt so uneasy. I think he has a lot of pain still in him because of his son's birthmother. Did she leave her husband and son? Did she die? Idk yet, but I think she has hurt them big time by leaving them and playing billiard might be her most beloved game. Probably they've played it a lot together and seeing his new wife/son's new mommy there, playing billiard brought back painful memories. He couldn't handle that pain in that moment, wiped of her fingerprints of that billiard stick immidiatly. (Hmmm, is his former wife dead? Can actually explain this cleaning, aggressive reaction, even better. I will wait and see) That old pain is why he acted so cold and aggressively towards her. He didn't want to act like that. Pain can make us loose it for a moment right? She wanting to know him better was not the reason for his aggressive reaction, definitely not, because he wanted to know her better too for their ROLE as lovers, reading that book, so.......she misunderstood him. Imo, he definitely likes her, even liked her before their marriage. He's very confused now, he's still thinking that she feels nothing, not even a friendship, for him at all. Married him only because of his money, his help with Mary her hospital bills and disease. She hasn't a job anymore (except her project) but the hospital bills will keep coming. He's wrong about her and his own feelings and his unconsciousness knows it already. But also she btw, she likes him too. (As he has asked her before in the rain. "Can ylimb the mountain with obstacles with me and ....... like me") It's more difficult now to win her heart when he's ready for love, because she's hurt now because of how he behaved downstairs. She's on her toes now and will keep a huge distance between them when they're alone to protect herself. (She was very weak and touched when she saw him playing with the two kids, treating her daughter so well and beloved by her new uncle/daddy. She must know for a fact that he's actually a good, loving, caring man) Communication is key in every relationship dear ppl, no matter what kind of relationship it is. Leave no room for assumptions and miscommunication, ever. This is how I am, how I've lived and will live. I've faced no problems in whatever relationship, never. I won't give assumptions and miscommunication a change, never. Tip' COMMUNICATION IS THE ONLY KEY TO HAVE THE BEST WHATEVER RELATIONSHIPS IN OUR LIVES. Don't waste precious energy, - time and tears on assumptions and miscommunications. Just immidiatly ASK questions, TALK and most important, LISTEN carefully (do not interrupt others) every time something isn't 100% clear to you in whatever relationship. Kudos from Western Europe.
